I think manager of curacao is my dream job Corendon airlines sponsor them and pay most of dicks wages
I thought he meant is it possible to be set for life having earned £40k a year, rather than can you get by on £40k a year, which few retirees are on.
Well I earn just over that as a teacher and I can’t say I’m set for life. Suppose it depends on circumstances. If you have no mortgage/rent, kids, expensive bills, loans etc to pay, you’d be alright.
No the dream job is to manage a country that’s ranked like 205th in the world. You’d have zero pressure. Somewhere like the British Virgin Islands, you’d play 5 games a year, train a bit and then spend the rest of the year combing through the United Counties Division One for players and drinking Mahou on the beach. Or, play in Gibraltar. Only takes two years to get citizenship if you’re British and you’d probably end up being their best player.
Yeah that’s what I thought. £40k a year is relatively comfortable, doesn’t leave much wiggle room with kids and mortgage but it’s not destitution. My old man gets £3500 a month from his final pay pension, that’s what I’d call comfortable haha.
Yeah, this. I didn’t post at the time, but for me when he was visibly upset at the end of the Watford game I thought it was bigger than just missing his goal and more because he thought the chance of being PL with us was over and therefore he’d be leaving. I mean you can infer all sorts of things, he’d just missed the chance to get the winner, he might have just stubbed his toe or summat, but it was this for me.
Now, I think the root cause of that nagging ankle injury probably starts a little higher than that. What do you say? The knee? No. Probably a little higher still.
Miserable ****er, control freak, OCD sufferer, or a mixture of all three? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Just watching the Behind the Tigers video after the Coventry game, Ohio is clearly enjoying it here and gets on well will all the squad. I can certainly see there being a discussion about getting him on a permanent in the summer.
My tune has changed a little, he looked very good against Coventry. His hold up play, his runs in behind all looked very tidy and worthwhile. If he backs that up over the last two games then I'd hope we look at getting him in as a second/third striker.
Like I said the other day I think he’d be excellent at this level for a team that plays a more typical championship hustle and bustle game. He reminds me a lot of Niasse.
Still reminds me of Altidore. All the attributes to do well but it never really happens for him. Let's hope he proves me wrong over the next couple of games.
I’m not sure about him, he’s got Altidore written all over him. Hopefully he’ll be better. He’s played 179 mins since jan, when we needed players to hit the ground running. That’s not quite as impressive imo
he’s won us 6 points and barely played, after seeing him against Cov I seriously question the judgement of playing Sharp over him. That chance against Boro sharp didn’t get to, I reckon Ohio would have done.
