Really? You think McGuinness & Goutas are good enough? No clean sheets in the league indicates a CB is needed not just for cover.
The no.1 priority is a CB. 2 of them would be ideal.

Just listened to interviews with Erol, Bowler and Tanner. The Bowler one was a bit different as it was fans questions, but provides insight. I've watched a few previously with Erol and others as well.
They're worth looking at. You get a feel for the players, their attitudes and how content they are in the environment.
Most came across as articulate and thoughtful. Tanner in particular. Very considered responses.
I know its what they do on the pitch that matters for results, but how they perceive themselves and their team mates, how they feel about the manager and the training, all affects what they do on the pitch.
Once again, Erol straight talking. Complimentary about the young guns, BUT, always keeping them honest. Always letting them know they need to improve.
I said the other day that he was growing on me, and he continues to do so.
I'm not getting carried away, but feel as positive as I have for a while.
Not JCK confident, but my glass is past half full.
Autos this year? No, and I know JCK will berate me, but progress. A progressive style and better results than in recent years. A foundation to build on.

We can have more than 5 loans, just not in the match day squad.
Good point Sheepy although I think the limitation is on the number of loaners we can use in a match day squad.

I think I read somewhere that you can only name 5 loan signings in the match day squad but you can sign as many as you like. But that could be complete bullish!t of course.
