I had heard the same regarding the spending of 35 Million. Would still be absolutely shocked if we brought in Gakpo though.
Seeing as the news is that we previously had a bid rejected for him, I don't think this one is worth getting excited about.

If we bring in 5 it will be proper dreamland stuff. I don’t see it unfortunately. I’d like to think we use both loan slots unless we want to keep one for January just in case ?
Yeah 5 incomings is deffo a bit of a myth, but loans could deffo help with that. Unrealistic to expect the whole squad to be fixed in one window, but would love to see it.
I can’t see us signing another 5 players. Striker CB and maybe fullback.
All I know about Gakpo is what my son has told me - he's cheap to buy in FIFA and underrated in the game. Hopefully that will seep into real life.
If we get a goal scoring striker, James Garner (replace Romeu) and AMN as a utility player, I would be delighted with the incomings

Gakpo, Garner and AMN would cap off the best window ever but imagine there’s got to be a CB about too if we’re moving one or both of Jan and Jack. Think they’ve got to be hoping for 4 or 5 this week. I don’t think even the most optimistic of us expected this level of tilt from Sport Republic. It’s been a great window. Really hope they cross the finish line strongly.

They’re not selling Gordon as apparently Chelsea have given up and think he’s too expensive. They already have a deal in principle for Gueye and are waiting for PSG to finalise it. Might be that they can only get one for CM. Who knows?
