So that's five new players and a new backroom team all in time for the pre-season camp in Austria.

Fair play to the Saints board and Sport Republic for giving Ralph the kind of backing he's asked for (and not received) in previous years.
It’s even better than that I think. Judging by the sound on the training videos, I think Ralph has delegated a lot of the coaching to Rubén Sellés. This will take a huge load of Ralph’s shoulders and provides a platform for a smooth, almost seamless, transition if Ralph does decide to retire.

Assuming this means:

1 x Number 10
2 x Strikers

and

RB cover we know about

That will mean a minimum of 8 new players for the first team squad (I expect two to be loans). With, I expect a view for at least one more if a defender is moved on (it's not yet clear whether a CB departure is already priced into the current recruitment)

I am not counting Lis into this

That is a pretty significant revamp all in all as there will be some outgoings (mainly in the number 10 roles - I'd expect the departures of Djenepo, Walcott and Smallbone (loan) are factored into the recruitment plans).
Indeed I would suggest that if there are outgoings in anywhere other than the number 10 positions there will be corresponding in-comings.

A loan at RB and a striker and we’re sorted. It’s a new season and I am predicting that there will be a revival from one of our fringe players much like Ely last season. Probably Redmond or Adam Armstrong.

I think I said similar a couple of days ago. They’ve been so fast to make changes and it’s all been very sensible. I’m impressed so far.
