I am sure I read that he had turned down Leeds. But then there is a story of them bidding for him time stamped an hour or so ago so perhaps notThis would get me excited, one of the best prospects in Europe.
Leeds also want him so we probably don’t have much chance
£6m (if that is actually the cost) as well, is virtually a free these days.
Better than the owners coming out and saying they are investing £100m+ etc and then clubs knowing they can over charge usAnd we were told categorically that things would carry on exactly the same as under Gao.
This would be bloody good business if we pull it off. Future star. You must log in or register to see media
We were and they are. The sustainable financial model and the conveyor belt approach to young talent is still there. The only change - and it was made clear at the point of sale - is that we don’t have to raise funds through sales before we buy. We will still have to sell players to balance the books ( wages play a key role here as well)And we were told categorically that things would carry on exactly the same as under Gao.
Agreed. I think this was the fundamental problem of selling first. Clubs knew exactly what we had to spend.Better than the owners coming out and saying they are investing £100m+ etc and then clubs knowing they can over charge us

I think he’s beyond our reach but this highlight reel of his performance against PSG shows why he’s so in demand. If he came here it would for sure be a two year apprenticeship before moving to one of the giants.
They've probably found the cupboard where the Peter Kenyon Guide To Sustainability was stored.I am sure I read that he had turned down Leeds. But then there is a story of them bidding for him time stamped an hour or so ago so perhaps not
I still can’t get my head around how much cash they can throw around. Even with the sales - which are their first two since covid. Their net spend since 2020 is 162m - counting all to date (so not Adams in or Raphinha out). This will go up if they sign Adams and the two attackers they are linked with (this guy above and the winger)
Would be a foolish move for him. There are probably a dozen clubs that will pay that where he will actually start games. Surely a spurs he will be firmly number 2 to Kane
