I'm not sure I get Aribo tbh. He just looks like another Elyounoussi. No pace at all and he has just enough skill to look good at Rangers but not good enough to accomplish anything at a higher level. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

We’re getting Aribo for a decent price because final year on contract. So even if he isn’t that good, we’ll make our money back on him at least.
Thats a good point, but from what I remember the big knock on Stu was that he was really talented but never healthy. Both of those things seem to have been pretty accurate.
It was only last season that he had any major injury issues. The previous three seasons he was fit for the majority
So assuming the Aribo and Lavia deals are as done as they sound like, that takes the total signings to 5 for the window

So far so good; pleased with not just the players but also the backroom staff. However, we do lack a proven goal scorer and a defensive leader at the back - both positions reinforce the spine of the team.
I guess we have gone after our main targets aggressively and early and any other signings might be dependant on who we can ship out.

I would agree with that assessment. Still plenty of time, although l do hope we are not fighting for signings too late in the transfer window as the options gradually decrease and the transfer fees do the opposite!

I’m pretty confident he’ll go to a club with more resources, but whilst the door is not completely closed, it might be stopping us from completing on other striker options, which we could ultimately miss out on.
