I know you have been angling to to wind up one or two posters up and you lot seem to have had a whale of a time doing so with the fish puns tonight but it is time to reel it in.
Speaking personally, this thread has given me a serious haddock

I think you put your finger on it captain.

It’s like classic Bugle and I am howling in frustration like John Oliver
You sure that was ice cream?
I know we’ve all been surprisingly impressed by the evolution of Valery, but if we’re trying to revolutionise the squad is it really acceptable to have him and Stephens still be rotation options? I think we are more ambitious than that at the moment. You must log in or register to see media
Levi Colwill with his uncles(who play for sholing)
at st Mary’s last night.
Perhaps they’re on the wind up a bit with these posts, but Chelsea do have a friendly in Italy on Friday.
Think we might have to selll to buy in the centre back department, but it seems likely that Colwill will be out on loan again this season.
I wonder if you can negotiate things like sell on clauses with this sort of deal. It seems this has been completed as an ordinary transfer rather than fighting it out at tribunal.

I don’t see how as we didn’t have any leverage. But you never know. Maybe a first refusal ?I wonder if you can negotiate things like sell on clauses with this sort of deal. It seems this has been completed as an ordinary transfer rather than fighting it out at tribunal.
Big shame for Saints, hopefully he doesn't go on to have a top career and be the one that got away!
We have a choice of agreeing with Chelsea or letting it be resolved by tribunal. It seems Chelsea made us a reasonable offer. Tribunals often stipulate small fees but they do include future payments and percentages. We must have been happy to make some kind of a deal with them.I don’t see how as we didn’t have any leverage. Worth noting that some of our fans wanted Pope, Tarkowski and Mee. And we were linked with Brownhill and some even still said they’d have Cork back (i definitely saw it mentioned)You must log in or register to see images
There is someone on Saintsweb who has lost their head and seemed to think we could try and leverage Chelsea’s interest in him to our benefit - such as for Colwill or something (surprise surprise they were not specific as to how)We have a choice of agreeing with Chelsea or letting it be resolved by tribunal. Then of course Cornet
There are sometimes good signings to be made from relegated clubs. Liverpool made a habit of it with Wijnaldum, Robertson and I think Shaqiri. But not signing a bunch of them
I don’t know enough about Tarkowski to know if he will dramatically change Everton. As for McNeil - don’t they already have lots of wingers?
