Apparently, the agent of Festus Arthur, 20 year old centre back, born in Germany of Ghanaian descent, was at the training ground yesterday to discuss terms.

He's a free agent after his contract expired at Stockport County, where he made 32 appearances last season (two goals).

We looked at him in January, Leicester were also allegedly interested.

Are we collecting centre halves or are we planning to lose a couple after we're relegated?

Bit of an enigma is Huddlestone.. I dont think he's ever played under the right type of manager that really knows how to get the best out of him.

that rules McCann out then.

"Tom, can you play an attacking wide midfield role, tracking back to help the full back?"

"err..."

"Great, your in"

Pennington, MacDonald and McKenzie are all likely to be gone at the end of the season (possibly de Wijs if we get a decent offer).

Though if we're giving a young lad a go, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be Greaves.

It's Enob's brilliant genius football model. Seriously.
Doesn't really matter too much what position they play.
Bring them in cheap, sell them on for a fortune.
It's really working a treat.

I agree. If we are building a L1 team which looks extremely likely at this point then get Greaves in and playing. He is a good prospect and well thought of by his loan club. It’s going to be another summer of clearouts and chaos before the new season.

He was due to be in court this month, but due to COVID, it's been delayed until May 2021.

Cheers, worth the punt in that case knowing we’ll get at least a season out of him.

He looked well out of sorts when he arrived but seemed to score a few regardless so he knows where the net is. He’ll be worth a fair few more goals once settled properly with a decent Manager mentoring him.
