And Max Clark was a central midfielder.
He was at Cambridge, but for most of his time at City (and for England) he was playing at left back, or left sided centre back.

McKenzie was a youth player coming through. And was a stand out at youth level unless we try him we’d never know.
Pennington signed as a football player.
I didn’t see the game. Even when posters were saying he played well earlier in the season I didn’t rate him .That football player was pretty awful at right back today.
Ok first half because not under pressure and also because Wilks was pushing up and pressing them so forced them backwards on our right.I didn’t see the game. Even when posters were saying he played well earlier in the season I didn’t rate him .
So there you go
Fancy playing for free Tom?Huddlestone's been released by Derby and won't play in any of their remaining games.
Bit of an enigma is Huddlestone.. I dont think he's ever player under the right type of manager that really knows how to get the best out of him.
He was a joy to watch. And we had the privilege. Seems a life time away.
The Fulham game at home was my fave game from him. Purely just for the celebration
Don’t recall it been that drab matePlus after that first half you would never have predicted what was to come in the second half. Wasn’t it 0-0 at half time? I’m sure some fans left at half time it was that drab.
D

One of the greatest results in our history that day
Hull city smashing a premier league team 6-0 !!! Nah it’ll never happen
Thanks Sir Steve
First half was dire from memory. Second half we scored all 6. I’m sure people left around me at half time.
You sit in south stand don't you GLP?

We were the better team all game, there was no indication of a landslide after the first half, but we came close a few times. Huddlestone hit the post and had a great free kick palmed away, Boyd had one saved and Sagbo put one just wide. You'd have had to be mental to have gone home at half time.
Technically fantastic, always seemed to do everythig in slow motion but at the same time looked like he had all the time in the world. We never got the best out of him imoBit of an enigma is Huddlestone.. I dont think he's ever played under the right type of manager that really knows how to get the best out of him.
