Quote from Dalman.
Positive stuff.

"We're in the process of bringing two or three players on board by July and others should follow. Our intention is to keep every one of our best players, build on that."

Okay. Not what we expected. Hopefully another gem picked up from the lower leagues.

Has good experience with over 300 games under his belt at Plymouth and Oxford where he captained both teams.

Primarily a defender but can play midfield. Has scored 15 league goals over the years. Has had a couple of serious injuries but returned successfully. Ironically he was dropped from the Plymouth side in 2011 when they signed Darren Purse. He came back to make another 160 appearances over the next 4 seasons.

It's all very quiet.
Not much posting and not much to post about.

I'm hoping Colin, Choo and Dalman are busy behind the scenes and we see signings without protracted rumours.

Contracts run to the end of June, so hopefully some announcements quickly after, especially if they are free agents.

Not much business announced anywhere yet, though the swans have a new manager apparently.

Yes, should be a good signing. Also the lad Turnbull from Motherwell looks useful although I think Villa, the Wendies and the Weeds are also looking at him.

Would be good to get news in a striker who has a good relationship with the ball and the back of the net.

Looks like Turnbull is going to Celtic for £3m. At least he's not going to one of our rivals.

To my mind it shows a bit of a lack of ambition staying close to home in a Mickey Mouse league.

If he is good it will just be a stepping stone to a bigger club in the Prem League in a couple of years and Celtic will reap a big profit.

I hope we get Vaulks but is he the top class midfield playmaker City have missed since the likes of Mutch, Whittingham and Mcphail?

I really hope Warnock has others in mind.

Vaulks away on holiday. Signing likely to be completed next week.

As Ninian says though, more needed. Vaulks, Ralls, Bacuna, Damour and Paterson as a stop gap not enough.

Can we sign someone soon so we can either drool over the prospect of seeing him play or whinge about the "lack of ambition".

Hopefully see a few once July is here, though that is likely to mean they are free agents (which might fall in to the lack of ambition category).
