Do we really want a Julio Geordio (see Fast Show) type player with no experience of the UK, our culture, our leagues, or even experience outside his native Colombia? Probably only speaks Spanish. These issues can bring all sorts of problems.

I'm not being racist just staying facts. He could be an absolute gem at a low cost but imo a big risk.

Our friends down west have tried a couple of these I believe, at least one for a large amount of money. I don't think they were very successful.

I see City are quiet on this. I hope they stay that way.

Yes, I suppose so - we could always find another Lambert, Madine or Niasse.

Not a fair comparison Sparks. You could have cited the ones who worked, Aguerro, Suarez, Tevez etc but they had good track records before coming to the UK.

Anyway as the article says, it's all gone quiet over there since we got relegated.
 
And Tomlin and Bogle. Plus some others we could do without.

Connolly, Damour (although he was just about okay as cover last time in the Championship) and Healey who is lower level Championship at best. Would be better off playing in League 1.

I see Villa are after Jack Butland from Stoke. Hope they get him and leave Etheridge alone. The spammers have signed 2 keepers so that's them sorted Liverpool have distanced themselves from him so that only leaves Fulham from last week's list. Why the hell would he want to go there anyway? Wasnt he there a few years ago and they let him go?

I also see Noonie is off to play in Australia. Good luck to him.

Ethridge has said he wants another crack at the prem.
If we get a good price and he gets his wish, good luck to him.
Would be bitterly disappointed if he left other than for a prem club.
Fulham have finished behind us for the last two seasons. Backward step.:emoticon-0105-wink:
More likely to be back in the prem with us in a season than with them.

Watching the Fast Show (and also Fantasy Football) takes me back to the time when I could afford 10 pints on a Friday night, some bottles of lager in a night club and a curry still have change for a cab and watch these programmes when I got back (and fall asleep half way through) that is if I’d remembered to record them!
