Without a doubt. I wasn't questioning the better service, just the lack of senior strikers to learn from. Unless you are clashing Dicko as a mentor?

I get your point, I know Deano is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and I doubt he could ever hack it as a manager/head coach, but I'm sure if he had been taken on as a striker coach, he would be cheap and could have done a good job, as I believe Craig ***an is doing for the U23's. Or maybe he just acts the goat too often?

Here for another year ??

Kamil Grosicki's agent gives hope Hull City's star winger will not be leaving this summer

The 31-year-old winger is in the final year of his contract at the KCOM Stadium

Kamil Grosicki’s agent has raised hopes that Hull City’s star winger will stay at the KCOM Stadium at least until January after suggesting his client would enjoy a quiet end to the transfer window.

Grosicki’s future remains uncertain ahead of the August 8 deadline, with head coach Grant McCann admitting at the weekend there had been interest shown in the Poland international.
City have always been open to the prospect of selling Grosicki this summer as he enters the final year of a lucrative contract and, as reported last week, will seek £4m before they sell.
That price tag has done little to encourage suitors of the 31-year-old, while Grosicki himself could favour the chance to become a free agent and have his own choice of clubs next summer.

Norwich City midfielder Ben Marshall is on the verge of leaving the Canaries this summer amidst interest from Hull City, according to the Sun.

The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Millwall and the Championship club are believed to be considering signing him on a permanent deal.
A number of clubs in the Championship are interested in Marshall and Hull are very much part of the conversation for him this summer.

That would give us great depth out wide, Marshall can also play RB so it gives us a bit of extra cover there.

Hull City set to snap up Cork defender Sean McLoughlin

"Sean McLoughlin will be confirmed as a Hull City player by the end of this week after the Championship club agreed a fee with Cork City for the in-demand defender.

The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international will undergo a medical in the UK on Thursday and sign a long-term contract after Hull's new manager, Grant McCann, finally managed to land a long-term target.

McCann, an ex-Northern Ireland midfielder, wanted to bring McLoughlin to Doncaster Rovers while he was in charge at the League One club last season.

Hull have now won the race to sign the 22-year-old centre back, with Championship rivals Preston North End also expressing an interest in McLoughlin’s situation as far back as seven months ago.

They had been put off by a fee of €250,000 during the January transfer window and re-ignited their interest at the start of the summer as the player’s contract runs out at the end of Cork’s current Premier Division campaign.

Portsmouth were also monitoring the situation, but it is Hull, with McCann’s backing, who have secured McLoughlin’s services ahead of the Championship season which begins next weekend."

McCann said he wants another 3-4 players in before the window end's. I'm guessing 1 is young McLaughlin, then a striker and a central midfielder, possibly a fullback?

At least 2 new Experienced strong defenders, one playmaker and somebody to replace Bowen if he goes.. in that order.

Very much liking our recruitment approach thus far, don't think it'll make us a promotion contender, but we're starting to look more like a solid mid table squad than a relegation threatened squad. Early recruitment makes a huge difference and this is the first time in a while we've had that going on. My Norwich supporting mate reckons the Marshall thing is happening, he's certainly not in their plans and with Bowen bound to go at some point he'll be needed.

Can’t see this happening. We’d have as many centre halves as keepers.

Joe Worrall at Forest is the player in question.

Must be congratulations in order to the much maligned Lee Darnbrough for those incoming! Credit where it's due.
