I think the fact we are excited by signing a centre back who couldn't get into Peterborough's first team summarises our expectation for this season.

Couldn't get into Peterboroughs first team ??? Who told you that. He made over 90 appearances for Peterborough under McCann so he certainly was impressed by him. Says 131 in 3 seasons on Wikipedia....and 47 last season. Sounds like he was a near ever-present !!!!! He was also voted their player of the season in 2017.

He has played over 200 games averaging 30 games per season over the last 7 seasons so he was their first choice centre back and he chose not to resign because he wanted to play in the championship. I think he will do just fine.
