    I reckon this was player led, not club led. If you look at it realistically would he have got much senior game time? It looks like he wanted to move, Everton dangled a carrot...... If you look at the quality of players we still have on the books though.........

    He most definitely would have got senior game time, Craving. This guy is streets ahead of some already there as Surlyc said. He (or his Agent) may have ended up taking the lead with his contract up this summer but the bottom line is that the Club should never,ever have let it get to that point.

    He would have got more game time at the Cottage than he will at Everton
