Well, THEVMAN has only been on the scene since Cortese showed up, but he's always said to have been a Lallana family member or friend.

I mean it was someone connected to that camp, but no idea who (or how they would have that kind of info, some kind of transfer agent character?). That's what Adam B is hinting I think...not adding any fuel to the fire as I am the opposite of ITK. Or maybe he is Cortese going out in a blaze of glory, that theory is more fun at least.

Pochettino has already been told that no one leaves that he wants to keep. That doesn't mean no one leaves...MP could decide to sacrifice someone in order to get players he wants...but I would guarantee that won't include Adam. Lallana is irreplaceable. Selling players in order to buy others doesn't make you a selling club...it is just how football works.

I'm not sure we are truly in a crisis...think Katharina stepped in before it became one. Whilst I don't think she will chuck money at us, I do think she will help us over a blip....would make no sense to sell the core of a team that is doing so well in an extremely lucrative league.
Ps. Not being contradictory...Mauricio will make decisions about who he can spare...just mean that it won't be forced on him to pay for the training ground.

It is beginning to look ominous about Luke but if he is the only core member of the squad to be sold then I am OK with that and it is understandable.

Sometimes you just have to take big money. You never know what might happen. Look at Sinclair and Zaha theyve hardly set the world alight.
Since there seems to be some confusion, let me assure you this is not remotely a crisis. We owe less than almost all the other teams and in many cases significantly less. We're financially very strong and we can still spend £30m a year on transfers while servicing our debt and without selling anyone.
Frankly the fact the board made that statement is very odd and makes me think they have ulterior motives.

Not sure there is an ulterior motive. Krueger's comment probably just reflects innocence about how the media will grab a bone (however small) and run with it.
Alright, but THEVMAN doesn't get things wrong. From transfers to team news the night before, he's got a near enough 100% success record. Adam being one of those he's referring to is just speculation but he's done enough to win enough faith from me (and several others) that there's at least a good chance he's right. To pretend he's pulling it out his arse is an even bigger case of head burying than we saw with the Cortese news recently, and the Adkins news before that.
If he's as vague as that, of course he will be right. That's how soothsayers work.

As I stated about 3 days before the story came out (to a general consensus of doubt and anger), the deal is as good as done for Shaw and my source has nothing to do with the club per se.
