We need 3 top CBs too. There are better CBs than Fonte who are not in their club's regular 11, and he'd still be challenging the first choice pair and will be guaranteed a game if a CB gets injured/sent off. *cough* Lovren *cough*

I'd imagine that there are a lot of CBs out there as good if not better than him; it's just about having a good scouting network. Even if his value was not that high, then there will be players out there.

Can you think of any? We bought him cheaply and he basically hasn't played for a year, we'd be lucky to get more than a million for him right now. Who is available for less than that who would be better than he is? (assuming he is as good as he was last season)

Well if Adam was leaving he'd definitely want to keep it under wraps until the summer. Can't be a great mate if he's willing to go behind Adam's back and post such info online.

Continuing your more optimistic approach, he must know that everyone would figure out he meant Adam so maybe he's just winding some people up?
 
Anyone could say maybe 2-3 players are leaving...almost certain that will happen...the argument would be on your criteria for important. Why his last ever post in April? Emigrating? Dying? Moving job? Can't be connected to any player because nothing will happen on that front till the summer.
 
Well I'd say that our important players (no criticisms to anyone not on the list) would be

Shaw, Lovren, Morgan, Jay, Lambert and Adam.

If 2 are leaving I'd say its probably Shaw and (sadly) Morgan.

Jay wouldn't pass a medical and would be a big risk, Lambert is surely too old for anyone to lure him away wouldn't be worth it for them or for Lambert himself, Lovren has only just signed.

God I hope it's not Adam.
 
Not trying to be a doom monger, but I have observed saintsweb without posting for ages, and THEVMAN has always been right with every single ITK thing he has posted on there. It's a vague post though, so will have to hope he jus means Guly, Osvaldo and Forte...
