Is that the one who went to Euro 2012 out of nowhere? There's Boilesen at Ajax but both of those are playing Champs League next year. That's about it really.

I'm going to start keeping track of these "ITK" rumours. Easy to make these predictions because months later no-one will remember.

People should at least say how the person ITK would know things. It's why I don't trust most internet ITK's.

Also these deals collapse for all kinds of reasons. Most "sure things" never happen. But everyone who hears a whisper thinks he knows the minds of the tens of people who must be involved.

No offence meant Saintjoey, if you turn out to be right, I will give you credit. But I've read so many "done deals" on here that never came to pass.
 
My ITK is working on the deal from the players side from a financial perspective. That's all your getting

I'm lucky, the guy that tells me stuff always knows what is happening until near the end. So I will never know if it's a done deal or not <laugh>

Shaw to United is 8/11 atm on most sites, so even the bookies haven't heard anything yet.

Completely understand your caution. I've also sat back and scoffed at rumours in the past. But, as I stated preivously, I'm not looking for accolades if it does come off - just thought I'd pass off what I've heard from a reliable source to fellow fans who obviously have a shared interest. What you choose to do with the info is entirely at your predilection. As stated before, I've never mentioned anything like this and haven't just suddenly devleoped a taste for attention seeking

It's only because we get so many wind ups on here we can't trust everything is truthful. If you are right it better be near 30m.

Really hope you're wrong as I hate united.

Also, the move makes no sense - they are slumping, he is a Chelsea fan, if he goes anywhere this season I think it will be there.
 
Can a player or his agent officially talk to another club whilst under contract? If discussions have been made, then Saints must have given permission. Can't see why Luke would prefer United to Chelsea....unless only United have made an offer. As I've said before, I can see a situation where it is in Saints interest to sell one player and keep the rest.
 
If it is United then so be it. I would obviously prefer Shaw to stay at Saints, but would hate him going to Chelsea, and that goes for any Saints player.
At least at Man U, he should have a great opportunity of playing week in, week out.
