Seeing as Lukaku is worth more than Shaw, it won't happen.

Just because a betting company reduce their odds means nothing unless the odds get crazy short.

In a market like that it wouldn't require that much money to move the price significantly aswell. Probably as little as £500 would see the odds change a lot.

Could just be a new rumour that a few people have heard and decided to have a bet

I'd swap Shaw for Lukaku all day long.

I wouldn't swap Shaw for Lukaku and cash. You need a solid defence first and foremost. No point throwing away our most solid defender. If it was Ramirez and cash I'd be interested.

Just maybe MP rates Targett and would cash in on Luke. He's certainly had a lot of injuries!

Why not have both Targett and Shaw? Shaw admits he needs to have a better life style so that will help with the injuries.

Mark Bright's analysis on that article is baffling misguided:

Is that why they finished with more points this season than last season then? No doubt he'd have said the same when we sold Oxlade-Chamberlain...

I'd sign Lukaku in a heartbeat, one of the two best opposition players I saw visit St Mary's this season.
    (the other was Fellaini)

Whilst I'd love Shaw to stay and think that he should (and will), the harsh reality is that if Chelsea identify him as a target and he wants to go then there's very little anyone can do. Every player has his price and there are certainly one or two at Chelsea who I wouldn't mind coming in the other direction. We are an ambitious club that is growing and going somewhere, but until we get there we can't compete with the big boys quite yet in terms of appeal if they really go hard after one of our players. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded.

He'll only go if they want him more than we do though, and it seems we want him an awful lot. If they are willing to really go hard after him then we will probably be happy to take what they offer, it's just a case of making them go harder than they would like!

Personally I don't think they want him enough right now, though maybe in a few years that will change.

Van Persie taught us a lesson at St Mary's.

I actually believe that Paul Scholes taught us a bigger lesson that day.

I have said this last week or two that the best players I've seen this season were: Fellaini, Lukaku, Scholes and RVP

Fellaini, Lukaku, Scholes, RVP and Juan Mata for me. Mata was just incredible.
