I would swap almost our whole first XI for Lukaku to be fair.
(we'll never get him)
Just maybe MP rates Targett and would cash in on Luke. He's certainly had a lot of injuries!
He is going to be a huge loss but who are you going to sell for £15m who isn't going to be a loss?
Look at Arsenal, they lost Robin van Persie and he was a huge loss to them. Wilfried Zaha is Crystal Palace's Van Persie
Whilst I'd love Shaw to stay and think that he should (and will), the harsh reality is that if Chelsea identify him as a target and he wants to go then there's very little anyone can do. Every player has his price and there are certainly one or two at Chelsea who I wouldn't mind coming in the other direction. We are an ambitious club that is growing and going somewhere, but until we get there we can't compete with the big boys quite yet in terms of appeal if they really go hard after one of our players. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded.
He'll only go if they want him more than we do though, and it seems we want him an awful lot. If they are willing to really go hard after him thent we will probably be happy to take what they offer, it's just a case of making them go harder than they would like!
Personally I don't think they want him enough right now, though maybe in a few years that will change.
I'd sign Lukaku in a heartbeat, one of the two best opposition players I saw visit St Mary's this season.
(the other was Fellaini)
Van Persie taught us a lesson at St Mary's.

I have said this last week or two that the best players I've seen this season were: Fellaini, Lukaku, Scholes and RVP
