Lost a lot of respect for a few posters today.

Trying to defend that behaviour is embarrassing. Doesn't matter what team you support or which area you're from or if you even like football, if you are a 26 year old adult who gets so frustrated you resort to biting someone there is something very, very wrong with you. As a club we don't want someone like that representing the club as far as I'm concerned. Like other posters I agree that there was definitely a case to support him in the Evra situation but this is just ridiculous.

Fair enough if you find this behaviour disgraceful but want him to stay at the club purely for playing reason, I can sort of understand your logic.

But the posters who are openly disputing the fact that be bit Ivanovic, or making excuses and pointing to other incidents from other players are posters that have lost my respect completely. Shameful.

What is wrong with you?

They prob like me and just messing :)
Or maybe not?

That game summed him up. A brilliant assist & a great finish for a last second equaliser, combined with - a snide injury feign, a handball giving away a penalty & biting an opponent.......a great player who is a fatally flawed human being

Yeah BB, can't say much more really<ok>

Spot on. The club have a problem on their hands and need to deal with it.

Let the media do what they want, they hate Suarez anyway. As a Liverpool fan seeing him bite some one is a huge lot of disrespect to everyone who's supported him through thick and thin over the last couple of years. **** the rival fans and the media I'll forge my own opinion and I couldn't give a toss what they write about, and biting some one on the football pitch (more than once) is undefendable in my eyes.

Well said. Respect and true. He has damaged your Club's international standing if they take no or insufficient action.

Luiz 'Cannibal' Suarez

Sell him ASAP - gone too far this time. Pep's brother is Suarez's agent....I predict he'll go to Bayern Munich for 40mil (ish)

Demanding weekly allotment of Chianti and Favre beans anywhere he goes.

Although, you and I are the choice picks of humanity I'm sure <laugh>

It's indefensible. But it's laughable that so many want Suarez out on the back of this- have you all had your heads in the sand? We all know what he is and what he does, today hasn't changed that. He has bitten people a few times before but no one wanted him out then. He's the best froward player our club has had in a decade and for that reason I put up with his bullshit and want him at the club , because the only thing more embarrassing than Suarez at times is becoming a proper mid-table club

I haven't done a survey to be honest... I'll say 99.9% if that is better then? <ok>

Just trying to get some perspective. Defoe bit Mascherano and only got a yellow. Not another word was spoken about it and today THFC fans gladly celebrated his goal to put them ahead against City.

I'm happy if people want to argue that we should hold ourselves up to a higher standard, so long as people then realize we are actually doing that.

Oh but morals above reproach are on his contract... oh wait... <laugh>

maybe the club should start handing out severe punishments to Suarez, rather than the FA? If you guys punished him harder, then maybe it might send a message through to his brain, something like "these guys stick their neck out for me all the time, maybe i should repay their faith?" rather than "f*ck discipline, take this motherf***ers"

The comments of Graeme Souness made on Sky after the bite should be heeded by Liverpool fans before they try to defend the twat.

It would be refreshing if Liverpool got their retaliation in first before the FA and imposed a huge fine.

As for the FA ..... anything is possible, maybe even finding some get out clause saying they are unable to take further action.
