I wont defend his actions you just can't bite other players.

However is this stupid petulant action worse than a two footed tackle that could end another players career?

The club have to sort him out and he must stop being such an idiot, but he's ours and we need to deal with him. I don't want him sold we need to keep things in house and make sure that he is aware of the implications of his actions.

Jamie Redknapp just made a comment about Suarez having a good appetite. <whistle>

Seriously? If someone was biting you then your first thought would be about the laws of the game?

Sorry lad i was only joking - no defence just wanted to be mischievous. LFC need to act fast if they getting rid should be gone tomorrow. But like souness said can we afford that. I will be honest as a fan (i will use us - you can use any clubs players big or small cause i will invite wumming) what fowler did was far worse when he pretended to snort cocaine, being a joke no excuse at all and cara going for the home fan was far worse, did we get rid of any of those?? I undecided, his actions today are disgraceful but the reaction is a result of evra case last year. Defoe bit someone and nowhere near this reaction so.... Not defending, just a tough choice.

Tell you what annoys me, everyone goes on rules are rules, well you are not allowed to react no matter what provocation in football and clearly ivanovic raised his arm and hit suarez on the back of his head in the wake of the 'alleged bite'. Should have been red for both

You kidding, right?

I must admit i'm starting to lose my patience with Suarez.

He keeps dragging our name through the dirt.

All we will here now for ages is that bite.

I mean look there are 119 people viewing this page.

All we can do is agree, hardly any point in disagreeing, so it's wumproof mate

I had thought he was keeping his head down, but the repression made him snap.. like not walking your dog for months and when you finally do, he bites someone <laugh>

Lost a lot of respect for a few posters today.

Trying to defend that behaviour is embarrassing. Doesn't matter what team you support or which area you're from or if you even like football, if you are a 26 year old adult who gets so frustrated you resort to biting someone there is something very, very wrong with you. As a club we don't want someone like that representing the club as far as I'm concerned. Like other posters I agree that there was definitely a case to support him in the Evra situation but this is just ridiculous.

Fair enough if you find this behaviour disgraceful but want him to stay at the club purely for playing reason, I can sort of understand your logic.

But the posters who are openly disputing the fact that be bit Ivanovic, or making excuses and pointing to other incidents from other players are posters that have lost my respect completely. Shameful.

What is wrong with you?

The thing with that is, yes it's bad, but it's a tackle and you expect people to tackle in football. Sometimes you'll get a bad tackle but 90% of the time there is no malice to injure the player.

However biting isn't natural in a football match which is why it's far worse and up there with the Cantona thing.

This is the key to me, I want the club to sort him out and I want him to stay. I wont defend him though and didn't in the previous problem.

No one has defended him, I am just preparing for the ****storm that is sure to follow, but really if you are so shocked and surprised that an overpaid idiot did something stupid, don't be.

Football is full of twats.

So are you saying that 10% of the time there is malice to injure the player? That's disgusting...

Still, lovely assist and nice equaliser to get us a point<ok>

That game summed him up. A brilliant assist & a great finish for a last second equaliser, combined with - a snide injury feign, a handball giving away a penalty & biting an opponent.......a great player who is a fatally flawed human being
