Yeah but really? He is not innocent, nor is he going to be found innocent, they probably safe. F me FA responding now. Now there is a precedent, i think that is what annoys Liverpool fans would they have been so quick with another club or player?

FA will start investigating the incident tomorrow according to Sky.

At least the new Director of communications will be kept busy. Good job we appointed her last week <ok>

Probably lots, which is why it wouldn't make sense. My point is more that there is a certain moral obligation in a contract, usually to do with conduct and bringing the company into disrepute.

this is the usual gut reaction type of thread o nthe day and tempers are up.

its not like anyone is surprised he's an idiot. so let him get a suspension, let him lose the golden boot etc etc.. who cares now everyone played like they wanted ot be on holidays and that irks me way more than Suarez being suarez

You're a wum but I have to agree.

We've defended him and it just feels like he's chucked it back at us and made us look foolish in front of everyone.

Context? Okay I thought people were claiming that biting was terrible and had no place in the game, now it seems there is "context" and sometimes it is part of the game, at least according to Big Bird and Martin Jol:

Spurs boss Martin Jol described Defoe's bite as a "comical nibble". "It is part of the game. They kicked him three times from behind in 10 minutes and he wanted to show his frustration in a nice, comical way."

Sounds to me like he's sending a message to the owners not to be too hasty in thinking about selling him.

Absolute credit to the Scousers that are condemning Suarez lads. You're a credit to your club.

Cracking player but football does not need people like him.

Some of you are probably proud Dads and I would not want my three year old witnessing that garbage.

Go & look at that incident on you tube & the come back & say its the same as this

The vast majority of reds have shown real class over this no surprise that you're going against the grain - classy as ever.

    Hypothetically then crumpet
Suarez comes out and apologises profusely and declares his love for LFC and agrees to psychiatric help.
The club fine him - rightly and impose an eight game ban before the F A(tho they will have to move fast)
They pubicly batter Suarez and state they expect higher standards, suarez accepts this.
Suarez returns and plays his heart out for the club and never has an incident like this again
Were we right to stand by him?
Should we give him that chance, remember how we vilified Becks against argentina as a nation i know the offences not similar btw.

My god. Its like reading the tabloids on here. He acted like a bit of a plum- yes. He didnt do ANYTHING that would get any kind of a reaction if he wasn't Luis Suarez. I'll repeat what I said on the match thread- this is something you would scold a child for. He needs to grow up- as do a lot of people on here, ffs.

Vulgar and disgusting individual with a list of offences longer than Crouchie, he should be sold off out of English football never to return.

Rooney Coming up to the TV screen and telling your 3 year old to **** off would be worse though surely ffs? Ironically the incident today was only seen when Sky replayed it 10 times, it wasn't viewable on normal footage. I hate the way I feel I have to defend Suarez, today he was a twat, the actions were ****ish, but rivals and the media hover over him waiting for him to do something and come down on him far worse than other players. Football has had far worse than this and players and clubs have ****ing brushed worse stuff aside. Hardly career ending for IVanovich
