Luis Suarez: "I am back with Liverpool on July 21 and prepare for Australia tour. I like that I'm valued by Arsenal."
Looks like Luis Suarez has talked about Arsenal
Luis Suarez for @Sport890 - "Now there are two or three options and the club knows about it." (via @Bambino627)
If all that is true and accurate and he has used the "I hate English media" as a ploy to get a move but then moves to an English club, pretty low.
i did notice the if, but not sure what i have said that was wrong, i just linked your comment to what other players have said about being flattered about coming here, but doesn't mean they have any intention of doing so.
saint,
being said on SSN that he would like to play in the CL but will not force a transfer to get it, make of that what you will(maybe he is happy to try and get that with us), but that is what they are saying after the meeting with the Brother of Pep.
Yep, nothing to do with the whole handshake thing whilst in the spotlight of a very serious accusation, nothing to do with sticking his fingers up to the fulham fans, diving and admitting to it, punching someone in the face on int. duty, biting someone for a second time in his professional career or saving a ball off the line with his hands and celebrating the missed penalty result in front of millions - it's just because he plays for us.
Wake up mate
The persecution of Luis started way before the Evra business; in fact, it dates from the moment he slalomed through United's defence in the first game he played against them in 2010. His cards were marked thereafter.
Look, as has been mentioned, at the ****ing ridiculous reaction after the Mansfield handball. Would ANYONE else have received such preposterous hysteria? And no, not for one millisecond do I believe Lawton, Holt, Samuel, Ladyman et al would have kept up this campaign of vilification on any other player from another club. Which is not to say Luis is some innocent saint at all - he has to go as he can't control himself. But even so, how, ffs, do you get a ban or 'biting' an opponent (that didn't even leave a mark, let alone break the skin) that is over three times longer than another player got for a headbutt, elbow and forearm smash in the same game, let alone ten games more than an England international got for the same offence?
As such, luis can't stay out of trouble so is better off out for the best terms he can get, but mark my words - the press campaign will stop, even if he stays in England with arsenal or Chelsea, but a new target IN A LIVERPOOL SHIRT will get it instead. You will see; we'll be continuing this argument next year.
“There have been no offers yet, but Liverpool know exactly what is going on and what I want,” Suarez told Uruguayan radio station Sport 890.
“My agent is in charge, he knows what I want, I am resting and relaxed. I am due back in about ten days, on the 21st of July, [but] a phone call could change everything.
“It is good to know that I am still valued by teams like Arsenal. Friends call me up to ask if I am moving to Chelsea, to which I laugh.”
