Hey frank I'm new here. Previously at ja606 , I know that might be frowned upon here so please don't be too harsh lol
you get banned or something ttliv87 or just had enough, thought i recognized the name, i still use the other site, few on here who do and visa versa.
Good to see you here mate. If you've got any questions just don't ask me 'coz I'm too senile to remember anything
Creton!!!!! Only kidding, welcome, been a while since we had an actual new face, normally it is just LD changing his name....
ttliv - I remember you from ja - I'm a member there as well [though not posted for nearly a year] - lots of people on here are members on both
I was banned for arguing with Arsenal fans about Suarez funnily enough. It's the worst kept secret that the admins over there are Arsenal fans so they get a bit more protection in arguments. Thanks for the welcome
Watch out for batmanu and Dubbed on here then. my problem with ja606 is privacy rights - posting people's actual locations / how many times they complained and about who etc etc
only fecka you have to worry about arguing with on here is tobes, remember him? got silly other there with the Arsenal crap, i should imagine most of them are teenagers.
Why would any company choose to take a cost 4.5 times what it should be in that financial year, merely because the player has signed an extension? The balance sheet amortisation of his purchase would have been costing about £4.3m per annum, for you to be right they'd have had to take a charge of circa £18m in the year he re-signed, as he was only 18 months into his original 5.5 year contract. I'd be amazed if that happened as there's simply no reason for it to, as his asset value was not adversely affected by him extending his stay. Henry's position is only strong if Suarez doesn't fancy a move to Arsenal. Suarez 'obligations' due to his contract extension will only ensure a better price, there's no way you'll hang on to him for the length of that contract. As for his market value, of course he has one - every player does, the market has currently set that figure at £40m plus a quid, it remains to be seen whether that figure will be increased by either the club that made it or AN other coming in & raising the bar.
They ban you for **** all over there, it's the worst run forum on the net, the admin are control freaks who won't allow mods, so try to manage the entire site on their own - they therefore react to 'moans' with instant bans as it's the path of least resistance. Most of the decent posters have fled, it's the preserve of the bell end mostly these days.
Just posted this on the arse board.... This just in.... Wenger said last night: "We always try to act properly but a transfer is always an agreement between three parties." The thing is Wenger, it is initially an agreement with TWO parties, the fact that you thought you were aware of a trigger value, means you have been talking to the THIRD party, when you should not of had any contact at all. That is what Rodgers is questioning the lack of class over. How on earth would you know that a bid of £40M+1 would activate any clause? LFC knew it wouldn't, the only people under the illusion that it would, were the player and his thick agent, and for Arsenal to find out..... Has illegal approach written all over it.
