Suarez at it again

Of course they believe he's not done anything wrong.

They think it's a media witch hunt.

I saw in the papers the Italians want the Mafia to go get Suarez.

 

I've heard Suarez is going to spend his 4 months in New Guinea in quiet contemplation, where he can also eat his favourite meal.

 

I have been wondering if the Suarez biting thing has been taken out of proportion. He obviously has a problem as biting is an age appropriate repsonse. When you're his age and still doing it when he sees the red mist is out of the ordinary but is it really that much worse to warrant the sanctions imposed on him? Why is it so much worse than say a footballer punching someone in the head/headbutting someone/stamping hard with studs or a reckless tackle to cause a break in a players leg during a game? The would result in 3/4 match bans and wouldn't carry over from international to domestic matches and vice versa? Is it because biting can cause infections? Suarez clearly needs some professional help to deal with his problem so that he won't do it again. I would have thought that FIFA would have also put a clause in place in his ban that he seeks/gets help.

 

Dear Mr Suarez,

I suppose all of this is like a kick in the teeth for you. Now you know what it feels like for the players you have bitten.

Stop acting like a 2 year old, stay at home and serve your ban. Also, please get a transfer out of England because I don't want to see your f*****g ugly rat face again.

I heard on the radio earlier today that he has had professional help this season. Fat lot of good that did

 

4 months is too long though, ridiculous

 

I disagree biting is the lowest of the low and this is the 3rd time he has done it.
Also if you take into account that he will have no football to play for a month then it is actually only 3 months in real terms.

 

It's too short, it should have been a lifetime ban.

 

It's certainly down there with spitting.

 

Why? Surely there are worse injuries caused that haven't had as long a ban.

 

Doesn't that depend on how long he lives?

If he'd bitten Billy Whitehurst, I reckon it'd have been a short ban if it was a lifetimes.

 

An injury caused by a professional foul is a lot different to biting an opponent, three times.

 

He obviously did get professional help, they taught him to bite harder.

“Now inside me there's no feelings of joy, revenge or anger against Suarez for an incident that happened on the pitch and that's done. There only remain the anger and the disappointment about the match. At the moment my only thought is for Luis and his family, because they will face a very difficult period. I have always considered unequivocal the disciplinary interventions by the competent bodies, but at the same time I believe that the proposed formula is excessive. I sincerely hope that he will be allowed, at least, to stay close to his team mates during the games because such a ban is really alienating for a player.”

 

Professional foul? Define one please. I seem to remember Guthrie chasing ***an up and down the touchline till he broke his leg on the 2nd/3rd attempt. Did he get 3 match ban? Was that a professional foul?

 

It's a contact sport, bones will be broken. Biting on the other hand is disgusting and unnecessary in football. Guthrie's challenge on ***an would be classed as serious foul play and deserving of a red card, he got a red card and was suspended.

A bite is in no way possibly accidental, he has gone out and purposely done it.
