Yes fair point. But he's had girlfriends, he's not Womaniser of the Year either okay but still. He used to say such nice things, but tonight he's been "off". Man Period I think......

True. It'll probably be nothing (the reason why he's off), he could well be just in one of those moods and you were unfortunate to be in the crossfire.

Sorry to lumber this on you, BTW.

Don't worry about it mate. My best friends are girls and I've talked with them at length about relationship problems so it's something i'm used to, it doesn't bother me one iota.:emoticon-0100-smile

Well, I've just started some fitness classes. Zumba, a worldwide dance-fitness phenomenon, and its GREAT fun! Now I'm knackered though, seriously I'm aching all over, need a massage and bed! <laugh>

Just had a slight problem with my laptop when it decided to turn itself off for no reason at all. After much panic and confusion, seeing "blue screen of death" on it as it is apparently called and many failed attempts to reboot it, I waited a few minutes, then started Start Up Repair and that fixed the problem for the foreseeable future. However my extremely computer literate brother suggests that it in the case that I have experienced it is likely to have been hardware failure, so it might be an idea to try and get it fixed. I'll leave it for now, if it flares up again, I shall heed his advice.

Mightily relieved I am, as the last thing I needed was another thing to stress me out. I'm already worrying a little about work later on today. The area of the office i'm in today, Recruitment, will be short in numbers as most are away at a training thing. So it will only be 1 experienced worker, me and 1 other who I think is doing part time work with us. We will be getting a lot of calls, and I don't know enough about this particular area yet to be of help on the phone. When I get calls when the whole team is in, I just pass it onto whoever will be the best help to them. So it'll be a test for me to see how I handle taking phone calls and doing my regular work as well. Fingers crossed that I don't get too stressed out and panic.

The old man has sorted season tickets for us both for next season in the Boothen End, first time for me that i'll have had a season ticket outside of the Seddon Stand. £399, thank you very much. He's currently on holiday so it's a pleasant surprise that he's sorted it already, as the original idea, or so I thought was that we were going to sort it when he got off holiday.

Nice one Sgt, Boothen end is the ONLY place to sit on matchdays you will love it mate.
And Jub, I love that beer idea... I guess it's
Bottoms up then? <doh>

And, FRIDAY is my last day at work before retiring. Give me more time too persue my 2nd passion in life, poetry.

Here's a sample..
The boy stood on the burning deck,
His legs they were akinder.
The reason was, the ship caught fire,
And his balls were a pile of cinder.

Where's me coat.

Just Signed up & saying Hi!

Was an avid reader of the old 606 and thought about signing up but with it closing didn't see the point.

I've been following the Potters since I was little and was ecstatic when I got to go to Wembley twice last season!

Here's to another great season!

:emoticon-0101-sadsmWelcome Pottercong

Miss Jub, Thanks I will enjoy it!

I'm sure looking forward too not having to work any longer, no more nights, and less hassle. Apart from supporting the mighty POTTER'S of course.
Let's get some decent player's in too add to the squad we have. Now,
back to the gardening, before I'm off on my hols for two weeks. <ok>
