it's OK buying great players but then you have to get the best out of them, and well, he hasn't.

What do you suggest? We bring in Phil Parkinson and give him the chance to take us into League 1 at his second attempt? SB staying is good news as far as I am concerned. Gives us a great chance of getting straight back up and after that if we struggle as we have done this season in the PL then perhaps that would be the time to make a change - but for me that time is not now. Look at Norwich - keep most of their squad together and have got straight back up - we can do the same.

I suggest we consider another manager. Have you asked yourself why our team has collectively failed to turn up on crucial games, why some players are lackadaisical in their approach or why we play strange formations, players out of position, no forwards and then nothing but forwards, or do you put all of this down to our dire luck and unfortunate injuries? I think it is most likely that Bruce will stay as he has the confidence of Allam family and he will want to put his wrongs right, but I do wonder if he can without making some critical changes to the squad and his own mind-set.
As for Norwich, yes, they have done very well with a manager who joined them in January 2015, halfway through the season.
I feel for Bruce as his failure to keep us up has pissed all over his hopes for the England job; life's a bitch.

SB is way too affable.
we need an authority figure.
Someone that isn't a friend to the players.

Who? Name some names who a) have a better track record than SB in the championship b) are available and c) who would be willing to come here and walk the fine line SB has done between owners and fans. As a club we have sacked managers too quickly in the past on many occasions and then lived to regret it. For me SB gives us as good a chance of anyone of getting back up to the PL and for that reason alone we should stick with him for now and not press the panic button.

Not going to get into the name some names game as the graveyard is full of indispensable folk. There are plenty of new and up and coming managers out there, as well as some older hands. Just about everyone is available if they wish to join us. Not too sure I want someone to walk the fine line between owner and fans. To make a calculated decision now is not pressing the panic button, to make a forced change later will be and there will be less choice around then.

Keep Bruce.

Lots of reason why. Not as many why not. He can take us back. The players owe him and that's the kicker.

We can't just get rid of SB without anyone in mind to replace him. Too often in the past we have sacked a manager without having any idea as to who we will appoint as a successor. Phil Parkinson was up and coming and look where that got us. I see no one out there who has a better track record than SB and who will come here and do the job of getting us back into the PL.

The only reason why I can see is because folk think he will get us back up, but will he? The reason why not is because his muddled thinking got us relegated.

The players owe us; Bruce ran out of ideas and the players lacked motivation, the two being connected.

If Bruce stood down perhaps Phelan would be offered an opportunity to turn it around.

If bruce goes it'll be because he's had enough and to be honest he looks ****ed. McClaren would be the obvious choice because of his connection to hull or maybe phelan
I like bruce but I do think he's ran out of ideas and if he's lost the dressing room or some of it can he get it back ?

We'll know if he has lost the dressing room if all the players want to leave.

I've heard Dawson wants to stay (dunno if that's true or, it;s a rumour) but it will indicate if players still want to work with Bruce.
