I don't get why people are slating Bruce, the players are just as guilty. You can do all the work in training but Bruce can't help strikers missing sitters. Had Hernandez yesterday and Jelavic against Leicester scored their sitters, we'd have been safe. Then there's all the late goals we conceded, Man City, Arsenal, Stoke, Newcastle, Spurs, West Brom, Sunderland, Chelsea. That's what sent us down
Not sure about that. We got 16 points from the 19 games upto end-Dec, 19 points from the 19 Jan-now. Dropped points in September and November largely put us where we are now.
But that's down to the manager. If a trend is developing and nothing happens to stop it then its his fault. That's what a manager is there for. Look I'm no anti Bruce merchant, I've said all along that if we go down I want him to stay, but you can't just say we're unlucky conceding late goals. It is his job to organise the team tactically and mentally so that we don't do that.
Chazz we never got over the ****ing halfway line against Burnley, started with Jelavic on the bench & waited for them to come onto us. PS. Sorry about the spelling mistake but like most of the guys by 11.00pm last night had had quite a lot of beer. But Bruce's tactics were still piss poor against Burnley.
Jelly just wasnt fit enough, I dont think he is still. Bruce was bollocking Hudd constantly and took him off in the end against Burnley. He put his faith in the players, summat Wenger always does. Tells em he believes in them and they can do it. Hudd Davies McGregor Livermore failed him. Dawson and Davies should have been a fantastic pairing or with Chezz as a 3.
Bruce looks ****ed, he's got to have a think if he's got the apetite and the drive for a long hard championship season. If he stays he needs to get to Portugal and put together a squad who wants to play and progress and ship out the big time Charlie's. Has he lost the dressing room? Can he get it back? Tough week of choices for brucey I think
I'm not sure jelly has got long left, I think he's knees have gone. Browny was on talksport in the week and he reckons burnsy told him as much
He looked shocking in that interview, I think there is a 50-50 chance he will go regardless but hopefully he will give a bit of notice so we can get a good replacement
You can't legislate for supposedly world-class players like Huddlestone giving away cheap free-kicks at the worst possible time either, not to mention the sending-offs
Nobody, and I mean nobody in the history of the world before you just said it, has described Huddlestone as world class.....
I never described him as it either, but some think he is a world-beater who will tear the Championship a new one
