i am just listening to the clyde podcast from friday night bfdj absolutely beelin. even quoting the debrecen point. you would think that if you were going to say something on air you would make sure it is correct, then again he is a ****ing spastic

He knows **** all. He's a mouthpiece for The Rangers organisation, nothing more nothing less. His views are worthless.

No club would turn their noses up at an opportunity to make money in a similar situation.

The idiots who are suggesting that Celtic should have forfeited this Get out of Jail Free card would probably as soon tell you they would not accept a penalty awarded to them if it was not actually a penalty, or a goal awarded when the ball never crossed the line. It's fanciful, bullshit, rhetoric, which does not bear scrutiny.

only a ****ing idiot would say this, it seems apt that many rangers fans are :bandit:

They beat us fair and square. For us to still be in the tournament is a joke. We should cut a deal with them that if they gives us 1m we will let them take our place.

It's no the ****ing Barras where you can barter as you please. I'm pretty sure UEFA would consider that bribery.

You started the thread Eric so it was you who originally used the phrase "Sporting Integrity"

Someone done a Mindy.

They weren't trying to gain an advantage they just made a simple mistake. The punishment is very harsh.

We don't deserve to be there. We were rotten. We lost on sporting merit and should step aside.

<laugh>

Aye because when you're running a business with turnover into the tens of millions "sporting integrity" is number one on your mind.

It's no juniors fitba doon the park.

Legia Warsaw have issued an open letter to Celtic asking for a one-off play-off match to decide which side should progress to the Champions League play-off round.

Legia beat Celtic 6-1 over two legs in the third qualifying round but the Polish side were then punished for fielding an ineligible player and Celtic were reinstated in the Champions League with Legia consigned in the Europa League play-off round.

Aye, let's risk £20m of potential income in the name of 'sporting integrity'. You realise it's a business not a charity organisation? Legia ****ed up. An official reported it. UEFA acted on it. That's all there is to it. It's a harsh lesson but tough titties.

Legia can offer hawf a loaf of black bread and a pack of kabanos along with it, doesn't mean **** all.

It's up to UEFA, no Legia or Celtic.

Let's put it another way. If it had been the other way round do you think Legia would be wanting to replay the game? Would they ****.

If Celtic were to withdraw from the CL then UEFA would fine us. That's a fact you can put in the bank.

If Celtic were to withdraw from the CL then St Pat's who were beat 5-1 on aggregate would take our place. Not Legia.
