They beat us fair and square. For us to still be in the tournament is a joke. We should cut a deal with them that if they gives us 1m we will let them take our place.

You started the thread Eric so it was you who originally used the phrase "Sporting Integrity"

They weren't trying to gain an advantage they just made a simple mistake. The punishment is very harsh.

We don't deserve to be there. We were rotten. We lost on sporting merit and should step aside.

Legia Warsaw have issued an open letter to Celtic asking for a one-off play-off match to decide which side should progress to the Champions League play-off round.

Legia beat Celtic 6-1 over two legs in the third qualifying round but the Polish side were then punished for fielding an ineligible player and Celtic were reinstated in the Champions League with Legia consigned in the Europa League play-off round.

Aye, let's risk £20m of potential income in the name of 'sporting integrity'. You realise it's a business not a charity organisation? Legia ****ed up. An official reported it. UEFA acted on it. That's all there is to it. It's a harsh lesson but tough titties.
 
Legia can offer hawf a loaf of black bread and a pack of kabanos along with it, doesn't mean **** all.

It's up to UEFA, no Legia or Celtic.
 
Let's put it another way. If it had been the other way round do you think Legia would be wanting to replay the game? Would they ****.
 
If Celtic were to withdraw from the CL then UEFA would fine us. That's a fact you can put in the bank.

If Celtic were to withdraw from the CL then St Pat's who were beat 5-1 on aggregate would take our place. Not Legia.
