No, the rules also specifically dont allow this - perhaps you should have a read of them, it will help you to express an informed opinion

 

Loads of comments from fans, pros and officials saying Celtic should have refused reinstatement.

UEFA applied their rules...what are Celtic to do, piss of UEFA, and refuse.Aye,UEFA would love that - two clubs not following their rules.

Also fans saying they should refuse …aye, wait till happens.

 

Legia are claiming we could have let them back in but chose not to. Wonder if they'd be so magnanimous if the shoe was on the other foot?

I can tell you one thing, for all the ****e we have to deal with as Celtic fans there is not a snowballs chance in Hell that we would make that mistake.

 

No club in the World would have knocked reinstatement back.

 

Apart from Legia Warsaw and the The Rangers obviously.

 

Well that goes without saying, The Rangers being an absolute bastion of dignity.

 

In all seriousness maybe we should withdraw. We don't deserve to be there.

 

Legia had the advantage of a 25 man squad (as opposed to a 24 man squad) for three games. I'd argue they don't deserve to be there either. They cheated/broke the rules, so cheerio says I.

 

We don't deserve to be there on footballing merit but as I said yesterday a football club is more than just the 11 players on the pitch and the results they garner.

Doesn't matter if it's a player who is breaking UEFA's rules or some plum in the admin department they are all part of the club.

The idiots who are suggesting that Celtic should have forfeited this Get out of Jail Free card would probably as soon tell you they would not accept a penalty awarded to them if it was not actually a penalty, or a goal awarded when the ball never crossed the line. It's fanciful, bullshit, rhetoric, which does not bear scrutiny.

 

it's a mute point anyway, if you said to UEFA no we are not going through they would not then put legia through. they would simply put maribor through as a bye and celtic would be ****ed off out of europe as legia would be in the europa league.
