Hopefully he’s good. SRs track record of hiring DoFs has been good to be fair to them (in the sense that they’ve been poached by bigger clubs so clearly well thought of). Be typical if that was the only thing Kraft was good at and now Solak is doing it we will appoint **** ones

If Ross Stewart gets to play and score regularly then it will be considered risen by the faithful.

He’ll probably get fit just in time to earn a pre-contract move back up north and his time at St Mary’s will be looked back on as a dream sequence, like when Bobby Ewing (Dallas) stepped out of the shower and the previous year(s) of the show were dismissed.
Knowing Stewart’s fitness history, he will step out the shower and slip up on a bar of soap and injure himself again, or forget his flip flops and catch a nasty dose of athletes foot.

And to think his nickname was the Loch Ness Drogba. Turns out that was **** all to do with his skills and more that his existence is a myth. What a signing eh

My lad actually took a photo of him once but we had it forensically examined and it was declared a fake.

Hereby lies the problem recruitment is one thing, retention another. Applies across a number of fields, sporting, industrial, professional and public services. It's not just money in my experience, other factors apply.

So Leicester fans (you know the Leicester which have recently won the PL, the FA Cup and walked the championship. The Leicester which still has a more than decent chance of staying up) Are doing this.

Whereas our fan base are applauding a new DOF! The absolute calamity and incompetence of SR is just accepted. Why are we so passive as a fan base?

Tbf the Leicester owners have done even worse than SR in the last few seasons. Both had two relegations in three seasons but they obviously started at a much higher point.

Was reading last night about how they've started to ban fans for criticising the owners on social media which is absolutely insane. You'd be ****ed Lincs <laugh>

Is that true? Where have you seen that? Jesus, just imagine <laugh>

I'd strongly argue they're having a much better time of it than us at the moment. Ours on the face of it seem more than content with the way it's going. They'll make ££££££s on Dibling and Fernandes. They don't give a ****.

On their forum mate. There's situations where they're banning people on 'probability' of things which are banning offences which is bad enough but also mention of people criticising on their social media accounts and getting banned.

They are having a better time of it than us at present undoubtedly but they had consecutive top 6 finishes not long before the 2023 relegation so had a much bigger fall than us who were already circling the drain. We were ripe for a relegation and it only needed one bad window whereas they never should have gone down that season really.

Agree though that we're an extremely passive fanbase. Though I'd hope if that did change we wouldn't go for a sign saying 'i bet Cupid didn't send you a valentines card' <laugh>

Exactly. Leicester have fallen far further and harder than us. Plus they’re in a worse position when they go down (which they will).

We’ve always been that way tho Lincs. Not saying it’s right but we’ve never done been that passionate- imo over 55 years of watching us. Might be a strange recollection but my lad, when he was young would always comment on why our “let’s a go disco” was limp compared to their fans, home & away. Still, on the plus side, we don’t string wire across the road to down police horses <doh>
