We could also buy his sister, Birmingham Ladies, England and Team GB for the Olympics, always do with a back up striker.

Is getting better and better each and every day. Dont worry about losing Koren Theo. If he were going he would have gone b now imo. The fact that Koren has been made Capt. appears to be the final straw that ends any chance of his leaving. Great and inspired choice Mr Bruce.

Are they. Well i got 44/1 for City to win the championship and 40/1 for 2nd spot. So i may just have another dabble at 33/1 whilst City remain invisible to the outside world. These prices wont be lasting for much longer thats a fact.

Thanks. Yes i accept i do get carried away at times so i shall look to keep multi posts to a minimum in future. Sorry for any distress caused by this.

This transfer for me is s really going to get the rest of championship looking and wondering. His pace will kill defenders and his wages are very fair on the club.

Look i shall keep them down as best as i can. I actually enjoy reading other comments on others especially all the sensible posts.

Steve Agnew Confirmed sorry let slip with Burnsie after the Grimsby game that it was all done. Then he said it will be next week. I think City fans should be looking at who is next to arrive now.

Yes we shal be ok. FIFA have more or less confirmed that all the ex.Rangers players are free to leave anyway. Aluko is a F.A.T.

Apologies Tickler.....I got a tad irritated. But sometimes you do 'get carried away'.

**** me ! Just spent the time to go to YouTube and watch that vid (too buffery on here) and he's ace.
If Stewart gets form back and we have him on one wing and aluko on the other we will devastate other teams.
Both of them will get double teamed by the opposition thus leaving Nick and Matty a lot more space

So do all the Besiktas rumours pre-date our interest? If so then I'm encouraged, if Besiktas came after us I'd be worried.

What I have seen of this guy up here, this could be another great signing like Peter Odemwingie has turned out to be for WBA

i dont think im alone on this one.. but does anyone else think this kid is "too good" to sign for us ? he looks premier league quality and reports are saying he was rangers best player last season.. just cant believe we've managed to sign him.

i can see the lad taking the championship by storm.... very exciting times to be a city supporter.

Nah, I agree and would say 90% of me expects this not to happen and I wont believe it until I see him in a shirt on the OWS. I guess it depends who his agent is and if we do sign him, he must REALLY like Bruce cos lets not kid ourselves, he litereally wouldnt have spoken to us if he wasnt our manager.

    From a Rangers forum:

Aluko to Hull City, why no decent sides in for him?

Aluko was a revelation last season, lit the place up during the dark days, i would have thought he showed enough during last season to have EPL teams bashing down his door to have him on board on a freebie, he could easy do a job for half that divisions teams, his goal v the tims at Ibrox will long live in my memory as will his majestic performance v St Johnstone on the day Charlie Green came to town.

A matchwinner on a plate and only Hull City show interest, dont get that one.

I agee I think it does show if you have a manager of reputation, he is the key to getting better players to sign.

The fact Bruce gave Aluko his debut at Brum, plus we can improve his wages - 2 decent reasons!

Great point, one I mentioned when Bruce was first mentioned. Plus he has an excellent network of foreign contacts as he has unearthed some really good un-heard of players in the past.

Aluko is so bloody exciting that I'll still wait for the OWS announcement although the HDM article makes it look nailed-on with a bit of a possible legal snag regarding legal issues and the newco transfer of assets.. could bring Stewart to the fore..

At the end of the last season, I felt that we where in the midst a change. Consolidation looked like the aim of the club. Nick Barmby and Adam Peason seemed like big losses to the club with the in fighting and cost cutting, it looked as if it the coming season would be spent with the forums busy bickering over the state of the club. I supported the Allams and never doubted that "in the end" the club would prosper.
Now I just feel stunned. This is not the way that we do things. Steve Bruce, Faye and Aluko, nah, its not happening for real. Even my Mam knows of Steve Bruce!
I am not worried if Koren does go to Reading, I personally doubt he will, he does not get mentioned in the media back home and struggling PL set against contending Championship for a former international does not look on.
As for Aluko, he will be a star. I cant wait to see him at the KC.
