There's another one this year. They are switching to odd numbered years to avoid having ACN in the same years as World Cups. I guess greed is the reason why they didn't wait until 2015. Hopefully they'll move it to the summer and have it every four years. Then we might get a nice rotation of World Cup, Euros, Copa America and ACN.
It was this year/last season but they are holding it again in 2013 and then every 2 years after that.
Turns out is it actually a two-year deal. I really do believe the lack of an extra 12 months could really come back to bite us in the arse. Here's to hoping he's ****e
We did well to get him at all and there's no way we will sell him unless a stupid bid comes in. If a bid does come in for him then it must mean he's producing the goods, which can only be a good thing for the club
You must have a different email provider to me then John. I have outlook and it shows the time and date that email sent not when I open it. ______________________________________________________________________________________ KINGSELLER WORLD OF COLLECTABLES www.kingseller.org.uk
This has to be about the best signing by a Championship club so far? Really looking forward to seeing him play, he looks a great talent. Well done City.
Aluko's only played one game for Nigeria and it was in 2009, he won't necessarily be called up for the ACN and Oli's even less likely, he hasn't played since 2008.
On a three-year deal I would agree, but as I've said in my original point - if he produces the goods for the first year then we'll have to be extremely quick in getting an extension sorted before he gets his head turned.
Massively Chuffed this has been sealed.!!!!! COuld be the signing of the season in the championship this, i think he'l have a similar impact as Scott Sinclair did at Swansea no pressure from me ha! The Elohomandy shout is a good one, would offer us cover at RB as well as getting another decent winger in the building
Fantastic signing relieved that it's finally completed. Just need another winger in King or Elmo and possibly another CB and I'm happy
We've currently got Chester, Hobbs, Faye, McShane, Bradley and Cooper, I think centre back is probably bottom of the list of priorities at the moment.
Aluko, Stewart, Emerton, Devitt (Cairney and Koren can play out wide, but let's not go there).... I'd be inclined to agree with you there. I'd go for the young lad Pugh at Bournemouth
I think Bradley will go out on loan and I would hope we're trying to shift Mcshane and replace him with a loan for a youngster who can cover cb and rb (although someone on here keeps stating Keane is relatively small, so possibly not him). With Hobbs out till xmas we've essentially got Chester and Faye starting with Cooper as cover.
