But that doesn't mean they have to be mute. Should you be even voting when you can't grasp the basics of democracy? You should be enjoying the victory but you come across quite bitter, you're spitting your dummy and you've won<doh>. People can speak up for what they want whether you like it or not, for any cause they choose within the law. That's democracy for you. If you can't handle it, enjoy stewing in your bitterness cause only you're suffering.

Are you posting back on the mag board after storming off from your leaving thread? <whistle>

Now if you're not going to answer my initial question, will you leave me alone and go and vent at one of these people who've clearly rubbed you up the wrong way.?
Ha ha that supposed to be a personal attack .im one of the stupid little people of this country that didnt know what i was doing am i?to thick to be given the voteits not a case of them being mute is it.like i said the MINORITY want to change a democratic vote.
There is even a law firm trying to challenge it in court .there was nothing personal meant from me.

You're too thick to realise you're venting at the wrong person. <doh> Have you had a drink by any chance?

Any Brexiter that complains about Remainers putting their point across would be served well to remember this!

Shows how thick a lot of them are!

Couldn't agree more, QWOP. Cameron and the whole of Europe thought they were going to win till about 3.30 am on Friday morning (24th). So why would they need this crap. Like your post because it emphasises the fact that, where there's an election, there'll be nutters on both sides.

I like this guy. He's obviously in favour of Brexit, but it's a pretty balanced view. And he saves the biggest laugh till last.

The bit at the end is true and something I have been saying for ages. This country is not a racist country. Sure, the racists (however many there are), with their own agenda, voted to leave but many, many other people had their own reason for wanting to leave. My dad (an actual immigrant from Sri Lanka) voted to leave!!

Sure, I disagree with him and I still believe that we should have remained but it was a close call for myself too. Up until a couple of days before (I think it was) I was a brexiter. At the end of the day, the referendum is done and we need to work together to move this country forward. For what it is worth, had the result been flipped, the brexit campaigners would have reacted exactly the same as the remain lot. There isn't a person alive who could convince me otherwise.

I would have accepted it and moved on, but I agree, they would have been a similar, if not exact, campaign. It was a leave voter who set up the petition for another referendum.

In 75 they voted in .what they voted for and what they got .well

In 1975 I voted in.
I was voting to stay in a trading organisation which I felt was benefiting The UK.

This time I voted out for reasons previously stated.

Inconsistent perhaps?
I think not.
This old expression covers the situation for me.

When the situation changes, I sometimes change my mind. What do you do?

Precisely .why did people that had voted for a common market change there vote.because the situation changed on a huge scale

Fantastic news for me..... Aviva have announced they are suspending their property fund for the time being. They were a massive client of mine (well my employers anyway, I just did their project management). I saw this coming and expect a few other investment houses to pull out as a result of this rocky time but it's ****. Crazy times ahead but it was inevitable. Just gotta hope for the best. Any jobs going in the NE? <laugh>

M&G out too!!! I definitely will need to look for a new job!! Thanks Brexit! Just waiting for L&G to back out and this is curtains <yikes>

Hang on in there mate its early days, all this upheaval and uncertainty, all in the name of vanity, politics what a game it is. <ok>

Yeah I know. I expect them to come back in. The upside is, this uncertainty might cause a housing crash. Bad for homeowners but good for people like me who want to get into the property market. Just need 0% interest rates and I'm in the game haha

It is being mooted that banks may actually charge us to look after our money next, as a retired person with my own property and a few bob sitting in the bank this is not good news for me, but what can you do, but pray for that silver lining.

Negative interest rates. Yeah probably. They want people to spend in order to keep the economy running.

Sadly pensions were always going to take a hint.

Who's gonna be the first to say that turkeys voted for Christmas?

Still makes me laugh. People like him should not have been allowed to vote. Minimum IQ requirement should be introduced <laugh>

That would probably rule out at least 40% of the inhabitants of every major City in the UK. He can not be that daft though, had his eyes checked and took action with his lenses and frame. Just think, he could have been walking around Hull like pacman at this moment, bumping into walls and stuff. Kudos to the lad, he got his eyes checked..<laugh>
