Had to comment after the sick post earlier

Still sick posts are nothing new with some of your fans. Wonder if the site really needs that sort of thing

The earlier post which was still on the Chelsea board which you were therefore still reading because you're the one obsessed. What a plank you are.

Always the victims.....

Like I say classy

The more intelligent Chelsea fans here must cringe at you and your other classmates

Keep up the embarrassing work

Strange decision by Sol Campbell to bring this up, for the life of me can't see any reason for it. There is no evidence to back him up, can't remember any racial incidents involving him, though no doubt he would have got some rock apes abusing him occasionally, as still happens with black players.
He has always seemed a gentleman off the pitch, and smart and savvy in his personal business. He must feel pretty strongly to raise this issue so long after retirement.
Rather than join the knockers, I hope he comes to terms with this problem. He was a great defender and player for his Club and country, even racked with injury.

Care to give a few examples of Barnes 'shortcomings'?

He admits to being a failed manager because [his words] 'I wasn't good enough'. He speaks a lot of sense on race and racism and always said he never let racists get to him as a player. His words again 'the way to beat racism, be successful, and I was'.

Barnes was a particular target for abuse. But he says it had no impact because it never occurred to him that he was the victim. "I never had to bite my tongue, I came to England when I was 13 and people started racially abusing me on the pitch, but I didn't realise it was aimed at me, so I didn't pay attention. If people want to make monkey noises at me or throw bananas - I don't think I look like a monkey, and I know I'm not one, so it didn't affect me at all."[/QUOTE

Tbf he suffered bad racist abuse at Liverpool, where the tea lady refused to serve him and they made him dress up as a gollywog at the xmas party.

this was as late as 87/8 season.

Amazing when you think even we had largely got over racism by the mid 80s

What a load of bollocks.<laugh>

I read a post from you in which you said you are of mixed race and that you've faced racialism yourself, how the **** could you let your hate of LFC come before truth on such an important issue, Digger never got racially abused by us and he wasn't even our first black player.

Maybe when you come to your senses you'll question the traits of your own clubs support when it come to racial issues,.

Really Page? Cos it sounds like you are. I could just as easily dig out 3 links about Liverpool fans on par with those.

Specific clubs don't contain more racists than others, society does.

Dig any 3 links out you like Drogs, as long as they portray truthful events that's sound, your fellow Chelsea supporter makes up bulllshit or posts heresay as fact, I don't give a flying one if he or anyone else hates LFC but when the very thing they're accusing us of is rife at their club it needs pointing out mate.

DR pointed out earlier that his comment wasn't aimed at you or other Chelsea boys, it was like mine aimed at the two that post none stop bile at LFC and scousers.

<ok>

Just don't see the benefit in posting links back that's all, we're all aware there are plenty of scumbags who like football.

By making the comment he has, Campbell has clearly demonstrated the reason why he was never chosen to be captain! He must have known there were 4 captains beforehand who were black! Clearly he wasn't bright enough to hold the post of captain!

All 'that bollocks' is his autobiography and another book Out of his Skin.

Racist Liverpool fans wrote to him urging him not to join the club. Despite Howard gayle etc, he would be the first black superstar at Liverpool.

Liverpool fans also racially abused him when he played for Watford.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...sm-problem-that-football-just-cant-shift.html

“There wasn’t a game in the Eighties when you didn’t get racial abuse as a black player. I got racist abuse at Liverpool when I played for Watford. If I had played for Everton against Liverpool then maybe the Liverpool fans would have racially abused me."

No we don't. We wonder why Liverpool have to make everything about them, we wonder why you are offended by everything but outraged by nothing, we wonder why you felt Suarez t-shirts were a good idea, we wonder how long it'll be before Suarex looks to push a move through again. Just a handful of things we wonder about.

Obssessed.....reading through the thread it was YOU who mentioned John Barnes <doh> I wonder why YOU have to make everything about us?? <laugh> No wonder your boring drivel has seen the majority of your fellow fans desert your board.

As for coming on your board, I did so because I saw the title of the thread on the main board and wanted to discuss the issue...however before the first page was done the usual suspects had already turned it into a "it's all the scousers fault" thread No offence Drogs but they truly are dull as ditchwater and have ruined your board in the same way Matth has wrecked Uniteds. Read back through and as usual it's Dumb and Dumber who can't help themselves. I won't deny there was a whole host of racist chants around in the 80's at Anfield but show me a ground there wasn't. Considering these two make claims about how many years they've been attending games for they really do come across as novice armchair trolls. As match goers you and I would probably be remembering the Headhunters et al and suggesting people in glass houses etc etc. To coin a phrase these two seem to think Chelsea are "whiter than white".

We are "always the victims"....but only ever on this board <whistle>

On topic....Sol is a fool and talking out of his arse. I'm with John Barnes on this one....

“Whatever Sol’s frustrations may have been, the England captains he played under were worthy choices and deserved to lead their country.
“He played under Tony Adams at Arsenal, Alan Shearer was at the peak of his powers when he was appointed England captain, and we all know that David Beckham brought more to the armband than football.
“To promote the image of English football, there may have been political and marketing reasons for making Beckham captain, but colour had nothing to do with any of them in a way detrimental to Sol’s career.”

Sounds spot on to me. Well said Barnsey lad
