Stand by the **** for 18 months while he's injured, paying him all through that. Watch him return to fitness in the championship. He plays 16 games in the pl and plays well and wants to be off.
****er.

My sentiments entirely mate, trouble is he will argue we are a club in turmoil and a 'footballers career is a short one ' bla bla so Offsky to calmer waters ect..

Do we even know what wages hes been offered by ehab before we slate him?

Whos to say for example he hasnt been offered a reduction which i wouldnt rule out with greedy bastard in charge

Hardly sacrificing his career is it.
He's not a young kid any more, and he's already had one career-threatening injury, so he can't be expected to hang around with a club on a downward trajectory. The whole 'loyalty' thing is a red herring these days. It's not something I expect from a player. As long as they're giving it their best when they've got our shirt on, that'll do for me, and Snodders can't be questioned on that count.

Also, he's been in such great form for us this year that it would be utterly absurd to stay with a club who have been looking nailed-on to go down.

I sort of agree with this, but I would expect loyalty in certain circumstances.

With Snodgrass though it's abundantly clear that him being here is a complete waste of his time while the club has absolutely no ambition to even stay up. He's well within his rights to leave, same as Bruce was.

Agreed. The loyalty thing is not cast-iron, but in Snodders' case, it is.

He is gonna be gone within a week of the window , it's all probably unofficially done , same with Robertson don't blame them one bit .

He's actually said we're not offering £40k a week, but we'd need to, plenty of others will.

His tweet isn't really clear. Says club won't offer my than £40K. Could mean Snodgrass will sign but wants £50K for example? Could mean Snodgrass has no intention of signing. Not really great at his investigation work with City.

There's a lot we don't know but it doesn't stop most people using it as poo to sling.

I think Bruce was pushed out the door to be honest.
