In looking for the articles for today's 'Sunday Papers' I saw one or two reports that Snodger was rejecting an extended contract offer from City.

Any more info, anyone?

 

I saw one of the local journos tweet similar last night.

 

I believe at worst we have the option of a 1 year extension that can be triggered right?

If I were him, I'd be off like a shot; this club's a clusterfuck.

 

I would have been annoyed if he left before this season, I felt he owed us for sticking by him when he was injured for so long. However, if he gets an offer from a PL club at the end of the season then I wouldn't begrudge him leaving, he deserves to play in the PL and he's put up with more than enough crap from these owners. I'd be sad to see him go but I'd understand why.

 

I don't expect any of our players in their last year to sign extensions, why would they? Sunday League management and poisonous owners. Probably back to back relegations.

 

We'd be better off abandoning the club all together and starting from scratch, like Wimbledon.

 

If £7 million came as an offer for him, I'd have to take it.... I'm more worried about losing Maguire if i'm honest. I feel for every player and agent trying to deal with Escab. Phelan had a clandestine dig yesterday on Blunderside, saying something like when a club invests in a player to let them go is just not on.... Burnsy had specifically asked about Harry.

 

So who'a contract is up at the end of the year and who do we have options on?

 

Stand by the **** for 18 months while he's injured, paying him all through that. Watch him return to fitness in the championship. He plays 16 games in the pl and plays well and wants to be off.

I can't see him going anywhere any January.
He will go in the summer.

 

Depends on City, apparently he has a year extension which can be triggered by the 1st Jan, I would think they have to do that then at least if he wants off then get a fee for him.

There is a better than evens chance of that being the outcome.

 

Of course they would want to be off but only a PL club would pay them want they want which they wont get. ITs why no one bid for any of them last time.
