Look at this way Tel, when a lot of people's little kids grow up to be old and suffer with demntia, which is on the rise, they will at least lose their marbles and piss themselves with the dignity of knowing they never smoked. Normally they remember things from the past, so they will still remember their good ole daddy lumping that smoker outside the supermarket, that blew smoke in their face.
 
Smoking booths should be introduced a sort of phone box style thing where they have to put 10p in the slot to get in and then they smoke inside so as not to bother the rest of normal society.

Here's a novel idea

Instead of washing money on ad campaigns and enforcing fines etc they should spend the money on making cigarettes safer

And no not ****y vaping

How would that work?
You are breathing in Carbon Monoxide (aka smoke), which is poisonous by definition.
That is exactly why Vaping was invented, so you could get the nicotine hit from smoking, without the chemicals and monoxide **** that comes from smoke.

She'll appreciate what I did for her no doubt. By that time smokers will be being burned alive on a pyre so it'll look like I was being kind if anything.
