"Why the love fest for Marco? Turned out to be the Wizard of Oz. I only got 9 (NINE) games to perform a similar miracle and all you have ever done is ridicule me for achieving exactly what the Messiah has achieved, relegation"

The 3 teams that came down plus Leeds need managers, we'll be competing with them for managers and players, surley the boy blunder must know he's got to pull his finger out

Fine margins because of course you don't want to pick the wrong man, but we also know what an uncertain pre-season looks like and how hard it is to recover from it.

I think it's in the interest of everyone to select targets as a matter of urgent priority and try to get this wrapped up pronto. The club needs to show it learned lessons from last year, and it would be nice to appear efficient for once.

Feels like its almost impossible to have a reasoned argument about the Allams on here . If you dare to suggest they might have done something right (like appointing Marco in the first place) you're seen as an Allam apologist. I actually think they have done a lot wrong but how they were supposed to have known a month back that he was going to leave and have a replacement lined up is beyond me. Especially as the managers available seem to change on a daily basis at the moment.

Because we all knew he would and posted as much on this very board. If he'd kept us up a bigger, better club would've taken him, if he took us down he wouldn't want to be in the Championship.

Who said anything about been clever? Read most of the posts on here, not many are actually clever or thought out.

They could not win regards :
They make the announcement they have - they haven't even planned ect (let's forgot the fact the current manager is still technically in post until his contract was severed today formally.

They come out with MS has gone we are interviewing XXX tomorrow - it would have been one of the managers already slated on here, hence more slating

They come out with MS is off and we are already looking - the response would be along the lines of "bet they didn't meet his demands..."

Regardless of what statement the club put out about MS leaving it would never have been met well

Therefore the club cannot win.

As for all the hate towards the Allams, too right they should never win!!!
The club have well and truly made their bed, and now they will be made to lay in it, or whatever's left of it.

The Allam's can **** the **** off, whatever good that family ever did for City they've killed off by showing themselves to be total ****s in so many ways. I absolutely detest them.

****ing hell. Sympathy for incompetent Ehab because "how was he supposed to know Marco would leave". It was hardly a bloody surprise was it? It's always been on the cards and to not even prepare for that is just stupid. Entirely unsurprising but stupid.

Whoever comes in has got a horrendous rebuilding job.

So after likely outgoings and not including long term injured, we presently have;
3 goalies +a very capable u23
Two aged centre backs + at best two rookie full backs
Hudd in central midfield, and a few kids.
Turbo (though he too has a release clause) is the only wide player.
Maloney/ Evandro/ Bowen supporting a non existent striker.

Have I missed anyone?

I'm going to (there must have been something in my tea) give Ehab the benefit of doubt because if he's as sharp as he like to portray he'll have done some ground work after the palace game.....surley

So who was thi sout of work manager Ehab should have lined up 2 months ago and said to him ' Just hang about for a couple of months will you because there's no way our current manager will stay at the end of the season.' . There's a lot of 20/20 hindsight on here at the moment.

He didn't do much groundwork before speaking about Silva and his replacement - that is a ****ing embarrassment of words strung into a **** sentence or 2

You are right, Bruce did sign early in June. Given that June is 6 days away, and I take early June to be before the 7th, by your argument we still have 13 days to appoint a manager.

I think spending 13 days (or two weeks as I said), logically and methodically selecting the RIGHT manager could be time well spent, rather then rushing out to those available now.

Though in fair logical and methodical may be beyond the Allams

Going on his statement, he said they aren't even starting to look until next week - which eats into your timeframe further.

Contingency planning.

Regardless of who it is, the point is that other clubs manage. Ehab does everything last minute, we suffer the consequences and for some bizarre reason he then goes on about having rushed before and seen the effects which is utter bollocks.

Henriksen, Diomande, Meyler, Weir, Clucas.

May be more...

No, you've not missed anyone:emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:

Are you ****ing serious?!

They could win, they could be honest, they could reintroduce concessions, they could communicate with supporters, they could purchase desperately needed players at the required time such as Andre Gray, they could be successful owners of a Premier League club if it wasn't for the total **** up they created a year ago, they could have treated previous managers such as Barmby and Bruce with respect. They didn't do any of these things, and many more, I don't expect them ever to change, so no, you're right, they'll never ****ing win!
