Just seen this, The OP has had a mare with this thread mind.

Let us not forget we were the only club to take a chance in him.

Let us not forget we rightly built a team around him and by God it was an awesome team.

Let's not forget when it started going wrong he wanted to go

A Watford reserve that struck gold with us, he should be thanking his lucky stars

I'm not forgetting anything mate, I lived through every moment.

But there's a difference between a player then and a pundit now.

You can only judge people on each aspect, not allow one to excuse the other.

Can somebody put me in the picture I genuinely can’t remember what he did to force a move I can remember Tueart the smarmy twat but Philips nowt.

My memory of SKP is that he gave us all amazing times of us being an awesome team over 4-5 seasons, with him being an integral part, and in truth probably playing the part of. the star act. In that awful season when we were relegated with a record low points tally, he showed he wasn't a scrapper and got moved on. He is silly if he is extending his career as a pundit by commenting on a League 1 club and annoying people who would idolise him until his dying day (imagine Hurley, Clough, Monty, Kerr, Quinn doing that) by knowing better. Frankly he doesn't know better and that smacks of immaturity. SKP - please leave us to get on with the next chapter, you will be revered for time immemorial...please don't spoil it
