Russia about invade the Ukraine (.. yet we continue to buy their gas and allow their oligarchs to buy up London), China butchering the Uyghurs for being Moslem, stifling Hong Kong for wanting freedom of speech, poised to invade Taiwan (... yet we continue to import almost all our tech products and consumer goods from them), North Korea lauching ballistic missiles (helped by China no doubt - part-funded indirectly therefore by our insatiable lust for Chinese-built consumer products), Iran about to go nuclear (with technology from Russia - part-funded indirectly by our purchases of Russian gas), UK troops in Poland installing border fences (a couple of hundred of them - that's about half the British army now!! - and a fence? That won't stop those desperate and determined migrants or pesky Russians..!), thousands of migrants entering our country illegaly (no change there then - I thought Brexit was supposed to fix this..), massive problems with Northern Ireland protocol (Brexit again...it was fine before) and the French wally Macron (he makes mincemeat of Johnson - Macron's a t0553r, but he's far more of a statesman than any politician we have. With Merkel out of the way and her successor finding his way he's now the most powerful man in Europe), Covid pandemic raging with a new varient (the new 'normal' I'm afraid. We are going to have to live alongside these variants - we can't keep going into full or semi lockdown every time a new one appears) and what is the UK media going crazy about .......Boris's wallpaper and a Christmas Party that took place over a year ago. I don't know or care about the wallpaper, but the Christmas party debacle shows what type of a leader we have. It exposes his total detachment and disregard for the 'ordinary' people that he makes rules for and expects them to follow. It's similar (on a smaller scale of course) to Kim Jon Un living in luxury whilst the North Korean people starve. Just wait until that w@nk3r tries to tell us NOT to have Christmas parties or see our relatives this year - I think you will hear the biggest collective shout of 'go fk yourself' that has ever been heard before in the history of this country! I for one don't believe a single thing that comes out of his conceited self-entitled lying mouth - the horrible scruffy straw-haired hypocrite with his bunch of privileged, old-Etonian drug-taking, tax-dodging toff entourage. He's lied so often the only way to tell if he's truthful is when his lips aren't moving. We're still stuck with him until a better option comes along though..... just shows the dire state of British politics when he's the best we have The REAL tragedy is that in all those issues that you mention above Wiz, we have to rely on BORIS FKING JOHNSON and his cronies to lead us through it and out the other side to safety. God help us all. Rock on 2022.. depressing isn't it....
Which one of the multi party efforts do you wish to replace him with..? Keir Starmer.. Angela Rayner.. Jeremy Corbyn.. John McDonnel.. Ed Davey.. Ian Blackford.. Nigel Farage..
Yes - totally agree That's why our politics is in the toilet when this w@nk3r is the best we have......
That’s because you’re views are right of centre, I think it’s biased to the right, that’s because mine are left of centre. Which tends to suggest it’s probably pitched correctly.
Thats how they sell print or minutes on the TV/ INTERNET pick on something that is potentially not good and rub it till it wears thinner than the last negative ..... +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ OK you believe austerity was a bad thing.. so when you believe something is bad or needs replacing [ example quoted on our board was Boris out ... so who do replace him with .no answer was forthcoming ] SO your belief is austerity was bad how would you as PM [ heaven forbid! ..lol ] have dealt with inheriting a debt that stood at approaching ?£900,000,000,000? attracting an interest payment of ? £34,200,000,000 ? annually with most of oil revenue gone and a payment annually to EU nett of £9BN [ £9,000,000,000 ] The pandemic is going to leave us in a worse place financially than we were when the Torries came into power, I hope to god we don’t again go down the route of austerity. Even Boris recognises that which is why his mantra is to level up.[/QUOTE] There must always be a need to look at the wider picture... not snippets taken from it. 2019 .GOV had a budget and stated we had over come the pain of the debt left by the previous .gov and were in the black [ next was getting rid of the EU .] The question that needs to be asked, had we not tightened our belts [ austerity ] at this point in time how much debt was there left? 10%? 25%? 50% or ??%. ... = how much resource was available to suddenly come head on to a pandemic and be able to fight it! [ financially ] ....... imagine NO austerity, .GOV bowed to wish's of previous .gov [ Corbynn etc ] and we still owed say half the debt [ generous % likely worse ] debt left plus the annual interest charge!. I assume you know how debt and world bank credit ratings are worked out, and implications it entails! , because previous .gov had left our top rating in tatters, [2019 was getting back to top ]. WITHOUT the previous AUSTERITY we could have been living a dismal life for decades to come, got peed off with .GOV and changed every 5 years only to see it worsen ! there would have been no or little furlough, no business rate reductions even worse than you say about Pandemic leaving us in worse state AND YOU ARE RIGHT sadly ... no austerity, with COVID 19 debt in 2019 we would be massively worse off than the previous .gov left us. As I say you always need to look at the bigger picture ... it tells the true story, not snippets individuals choose to highlight or believe..........
