Establishments run most Countries, especially ours, so makes no difference IMO.... Boris is as good as any....the leaders of Government are told what to do...they are just spokespeople... I'm not sucked in to any of it.....The headlines are a diversion & distraction which are amplified by the media,,

To be fair covid has dictated that, what he did save us from is the disaster of having Corbyn in charge with his incredible spending plans.

YOU HAVE TO HAVE A REAL DEEP LOOK at everything that has gone on since the landslide election, and I do mean everything, media included.
BORIS laid out plans for the NHS laid out plans for Emergency services laid out plans jobs and bringing the North more in line with the south. For a month or so Labour, SNP were dumstruck had no platform.. media was looking around and bigging up every negative bit news they could lay their slimy fingers on. PMQ's had captain Hindsight [ wasnt then of course truly in his role ] on the rack every week.

.GOV had pledged around a £tr over the next 5 years to continue the good work that austerity had cured after the DISASTEROUS financial state Labour had left us in ............ good times were about to roll ... but no enter the CHINESE and their latest export COVID 19.
a month or so in MAJOR POSTURING from the media, Captain "no plans" Hindsight and the plump script reading SNP haggis basher [ no racial connotation, we are of the same ]....

Angelics list, probably incomplete, likely still odd bit of negativity still still to be dragged up ..................
Set the scene... a PANDEMIC never before seen or in modern times had to be negotiated

He was late locking England down initially despite virtually everyone else being ahead of the game .... In January February UK case figures were almost unheard of, Italy in the concentrated densely populated N/NE/NW Covid was becoming Rife and the world started to take notice, .GOV had a choice take it on and bash through as "uneducated scientists" or put it in the hands of those that know better, they chose the route of those with knowledge. It was mid March the odd few cases in the UK. My THURSDAY night hobbyists, 2 weeks before the .GOV lockdown decided to "go into lock down stay away from peeps and keep in touch via media" Note: my hobby [not my group ] includes doctors / scientific individuals who all at that time said not to get to worried it will pass, be like a serious flu outbreak!!!!!
SO on reflection as opposed to hindsight going into LOCKDOWN in MARCH was not far off the mark, those 1 or 2 weeks of delays allowing for plans to be put on the drawing board.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

.GOV and Boris in particular now became extremely busy, not just the usual things .GOV does but a whole host of other things.. double or treble the load. So was very dependant on having peeps delegated / allocated tasks and jobs to keep him informed and doing them in line with rules and regulations. On a number of occassions people failed him / misled him. I know in a working life of 60 years I have seen and experienced pretty much most of the antics being reported, and so have many on here or elsewhere!

When you do something wrong and you know the penalty could be very detrimental to your well being ... a lot of cases become denials, hoping to be believed and get away with it " Mr Dominic Cummings" .......Dominic Cummins got away with driving his family to Durham while the rest of the country was in lockdown

Illegal immigration is way out of control and shows no sign of ever being dealt with ..... Very easy to go along with this, however you give the French millions to stop immigrants risking their lives, they dont bother, so inhuman criminal gangs supply a boat a motor and a lifejacket ... charge £4000 per person and leave them to the perils of the sea.. ..HOW would you/them /us STOP IT???

The withdraw from Afghanistan, whilst not entirely our fault was a shambles and has cost thousands of lives ... Not fair to off load this fiasco onto Boris! USA/Biden made the call we could not stay to defend against a rabble that had many heads and extreme ideals. the media , ALWAYS looking for bad or negative things to grab headlines painted a really bad picture... since the last day of flights some of the more human orientated "clips" have surfaced .. some show the real truth of stampedes trying to board planes ... Afganistan was always going to be a bad place, sad that extremist excuses as humans now run it ... and the killing wont stop, the suppression wont stop and its people will flee ..

The Matt Hancock affair....... a sort of human trait ... wrong but right result

Priti Patel accusations of bullying ............. accusations ... yes ............. Boris's fault no ... some peeps in charge do sometimes get results by being "tough and demanding" ... this was resolved, often a workplace will get "lazy/ inept peeps that needs to be " encouraged to keep up to speed etc [ a few take exception and cause trouble ]

Boris' obsession with Net zero, heat pumps, wind power while the worldwide polluters laugh at us .. he who laughs last laughs longest! We are an island in the future [ Boris is a future looker ] will be in need of self sufficiency no or very little oil, everything will be electric or solar...

Next post .....................The recent Patterson affair where he had a second job paying him £1m a year .... H

The Downing St party(ies) from 2020 where the elite proved yet again, they don't give a toss about the rest of us and carry on with what they want regardless. NEXT POST

I sort of agree - Corbyn's spending plans were incredible.
However, BJ has his own eye-watering spending plans - HS2, Crossrail and the rail link to Northern Ireland - and look at all the money he gave to France - for them to ignore all the illegal immigrants trying to cross in dangerous boats .......

The recent Patterson affair where he had a second job paying him £1m a year .... Humans are greedy , but in different ways. You have the greedy lazy B******** who sponge off the rest of society no jobs wont work world owes them a living ... the workers content with what they work for and have ... and the greedier ones that go beyond the contented greedy ones [ cash in hand part time job etc] and become besotted with the challenge of making more and more!!! You cant expect BORIS TO KNOW EVERYONES INS AND OUTS IF THEY DONT CHOOSE TO DECLARE IT

The Downing St party(ies) from 2020 where the elite proved yet again, they don't give a toss about the rest of us and carry on with what they want regardless.

This in many ways is a very sad state of affairs ... The major question to ask is why it has taken almost 12 months to surface. Next would be DID IT HAPPEN AS A PARTY? then how was it kept so quiet if it was a party. Finally did Boris know?

HAVING KEPT MYSELF TO MYSELF before during and after lockdowns [ in odd chores like shopping ] kept 2m plus and making sure peeps kept 2m ! always wore a mask and carry a sanitizer [ and spray bottle of water as a deterrent! ] Last winter I knew of at least " 8 parties" heard of at least 10 more over the christmas period. My wife who worked in a care home was in a bubble with her Dad and I had to collect her on an evening on route saw at least 3 parties .. people spilled onto outside for ***s etc? so multiply that by the same density per sq mile! and a lot of guilty peeps about .. including us that didnt say a word!!!!!!
NOW I am not defending the Downing Street INCIDENT should it have been an business thing .. 3/10 should have given more thought on place... a party then all heads should roll -10 / 10 .... Do I believe Boris Knew ... not enough info on when he may he have ..... so inconclusive... do I believe he accepted what he was told all above board 9/10 yes . Boris "never gives apology" on this he is adamant, his body language is very positive, and in PMQ' s it came through just how so he was fuming. Tears and sobbing whilst resigning is guilt and self inflicted harm... no sympathy from me and hopefully others will follow...

In truth I think with all the problems Boris has had to bear, multi tasking [ not just 2 or 3 things usually associated with the title] but 20 or 30 things all in the same time frame he doing as well if not better than anyone you can put in his chair

NOTE....... started post23 and this one whilst starting breakfast [ always late starter after 1030 ] so apologies if new news since midnight last night or other replies to ANGELIC opener have transgressed as been multi tasking doing this and other internet activites ...

Is that our Canadian main man holding the clown back? Back on track I have to agree that your man is a total plonker and he reminds me of the time when the Chump arrived on foreign soils only to be laughed at by the real diplomats of the real world.

P.S. Did I remember to say he is still a plonker without a cause?

If you really think Austerity was a good thing there really is no hope for you. The pandemic is going to leave us in a worse place financially than we were when the Torries came into power, I hope to god we don’t again go down the route of austerity. Even Boris recognises that which is why his mantra is to level up.

At least we have a free media, both written and TV, for all their faults it’s far better than than being controlled by the state.

I also totally disagree regarding Trump......getting rid of him, was the worst thing to happen to the States in decades......but I'm sure I'm on my own......as it's showing to be the case IMO...
