Should Boris Stand Down ?

So we've gone through the following issues during Boris' reign

He was late locking England down initially despite virtually everyone else being ahead of the game
Dominic Cummins got away with driving his family to Durham while the rest of the country was in lockdown
Illegal immigration is way out of control and shows no sign of ever being dealt with
The withdraw from Afghanistan, whilst not entirely our fault was a shambles and has cost thousands of lives
The Matt Hancock affair
Priti Patel accusations of bullying
Boris' obsession with Net zero, heat pumps, wind power while the worldwide polluters laugh at us
The recent Patterson affair where he had a second job paying him £1m a year
The Downing St party(ies) from 2020 where the elite proved yet again, they don't give a toss about the rest of us and carry on with what they want regardless.

Anyone else want a strong leader who will tell the French where to go, and remind them of the debt they actually owe us in that they are a free nation. Someone who can get a grip on being energy independent and not beholden to France for Electricity or Russia for Gas or relying on wind power when it doesn't blow ? Anyone else want a politician or leader that doesn't spin lie after lie and rarely sack anyone ? Ok the last one is unlikely !
Anyone want a PM that doesn't raise National Insurance when the economy is depressed when we're wasting billions pointlessly on other things like HS2 and illegal immigration ?

I've never liked Johnson from day 1 when he became mayor of London. At best he's a bungling buffoon and at worst he's a very dangerous idiot who's policies change whenever the wind blows. He's another of the Eton Old Boys who thinks he's some sort of Winston Churchill when really he's more Ronald McDonald. He changes his mind more than most people change their underwear - for example he only jumped on the Brexit bandwagon (after being a staunch Remainer) simply because he saw an opportunity to become Prime Minister.
The man is a w4nk3r of the highest order and I'm ashamed of him and his cronies. They are an embarrassment to Britain. God help us if Putin invades the Ukraine - there isn't a leader in the entire Western world who could do anything about it - and China will walk into Taiwan whilst we are distracted by things going on in Eastern Europe.
However, as with football managers, it's only worth sacking them if you can get someone better to take over. I can't think of anyone else who would do a better job - Boris is 5h1t but so are all the others - Sunak? Starmer? I don't know, but until a better stronger, more level-headed leader pops along we are stuck with Johnson.
It really is a fking dismal situation when the strongest most influential politician in the British Isles looks and sounds like Wee Jimmy Krankie and wants to break up the UK. I absolutely DETEST the woman - but tragically she IS a stateswoman, whereas all the English politicians are just a pointless waste of a Commons seat.

I absolutely detest Sturgeon (and Mark Drakeford for that matter) who since devolution continue to see depravation in certain areas of their respective countries being as bad as it was after the Second World War II. Also poor/very poor are their NHS services and education in Scotland and Wales.

Starmer isn't a credible PM and Nigel Farage does more to keep the Govt on its toes than the Labour party do, and so if another leader is picked from within the Tories it would have to be Sunak for me, which isn't perfect by a long way but the real and viable alternatives are very few.

And I appreciate that Boris has faced unprecedented times with the pandemic and everything around it.
But when strength, leadership and telling the truth has been needed, he's been found wanting time and time again.

For me Patel and Boris need sacking our country is under siege-thousands upon thousands off illegals entering -god knows what they bring with them and not to mention terrorists hitting our shores.
4 star hotels-free food-money all at the taxpayers expense.
However could never vote for the clown party ever.

Who would you have replace him then RR?
You can’t sack a leader and leave a void - you’d have a dangerous anarchy.

And that is the problem, for me the standard of MP's is shockingly poor, virtually all are self serving chancers, I don't see anybody anywhere in parliament that I would have a shred of confidence in.

I read somewhere that in the past 10 years 7 labour MP's have been jailed for crimes, tells me everything anybody needs to know about them as a credible alternative.

But yes he should without doubt stand down.

It's depressing.

I lived in France for 16 years equally depressing Chirac, Sarkozi, Hollande, Macron.

Boris is a clown, I think it’s time he gave in the towel for all the reasons the rest of you so eloquently stated. I’m not sure I trust any of the other Tories either, but he still has to go.

As I said I trust any of them, whatever the political persuasion, the standard these days is shockingly low.
