Again comes down to a responsible owner, have a sticker warning there's a dog either in the window or on the gate they should also put something on inside of letterbox to prevent dog biting letters etc. It really isn't difficult. Ignorance from owners.
That can be the thing . It’s fine in the house, it’s own territory, and loving to the family members , it’s pack —- but outside can consider everyone an enemy of it’s family/pack
