I've always seen General Chat as just another 4chan/Sickipedia kind of site. Unfortunately with those type of sites you can't laugh at one thing & take offense at another. As NUFCThreatLevel has said on Twitter you either have to take the good with the bad or simply not engage with those who post the content.
