Awake, but that's about it.

Worked out how many hours, minutes and seconds? It'll help to pass the idle moments away.

Haven't yet, I was planning doing that today when bored at work though.
Aye I'm still not properly awake mind, all aches and pains after the toils of the derby and the trip to the Lakes this weekend has taken its toll!

Went camping last night with a few mates, hot boxed a tent with a shisha, as the smoke is pretty thick you could barely see a thing <laugh> After that we had a spliff and ended up walking 2 miles at 11 30 to get to the nearest dominoes <laugh> We then proceeded to crack open a few beers and have a bit of a piss up, I didn't get a wink of sleep last night. So so so so so tired but can't sleep ! :(

No idea if this has already been posted as its own thread earlier so I thought I'd post it here..

GARY NEVILLE has lifted the lid on the gambling 'cancer' that hit England's chances of winning two World Cups and three European Championships.

The former Manchester United defender claims stars were hooked on playing cards and betting hundreds of pounds.

He also reveals in his soon-to-be-published autobiography 'Red' that:

Former England boss Kevin Keegan fell asleep during a team talk.*

Glenn Hoddle had a bizarre pre-match ritual of touching players' chests.

He regards his own England career as a 'massive waste of time'.

Neville admits: "I was never thrilled about the gambling culture off the pitch. The amount of time spent on horse racing** or cards was ridiculous.

"We'd have a 10-minute coach journey down to training and players would get the cards out. We'd lose a match and the gambling school would start up.

"Gambling is a cancer in a changing room."

He rates his time spent playing under Keegan as unhappy but remembers when the manager fell asleep during a team talk by coach Les Reed.

Things were equally odd under Glenn Hoddle, who would touch his players on their chest just above their heart as a routine.

** Michael Owen anyone? <whistle>

Any of you guys seen this thread related to Barton?

I can't believe the majority of these QPR fans wouldn't have him <yikes>

http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/78516-Barton.-Yes-or-No

Not shocked, every club he is linked with say they wouldnt go near him, thinking he's the same person he was 5+ years ago. This made me laugh though:

In one of the papers at the weekend there was an article on Barton and some of his past indiscretions. The one I hadn't heard that had me chuckling all the way from Crewe to Chester on the train was that after his comment about "I went to the World Cup, we were sht, buy my book - who wants to read that?" he was then later called up to the England squad and the ashley coles and frank lampards of the squad who had all written post world cup books shunned him because of what he said.

Apparantly on the first morning Barton went and sat down in the restaurant and Lampard got up and moved to another table because he didn't want to sit with him. Barton shouts after him across the restaurant "Don't worry, I'm not going to steal your breakfast you fat prick".

<laugh>

For the last month or so this site has been loading weirdly as hell for me, almost every time I click on a thread or go to the next page in a thread it either only half loads or doesnt load at all. Anybody else getting this?

That Barton thing is class. <laugh>

I saw the QPR stuff last night. Some of them talk about the moral standards of their club, but until recently they were owned by Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone. <laugh>

Skalpel: I've been having the not loading at all thing, just keep clicking every couple of seconds til I get a response.

They've got a very busy board BTW, I think we plat them after Fulham don't we? Should be interesting on here match day.

Ah cheers, yeah I've been doing the same. Just wondered if it was maybe something on my end. <ok>

Managed to get a PT weekend job today, one very big downside though, means even watching streams of daytime Sat/Sun games isn't going to happen <wah> But having money again will be nice...

In other news, back home now so time for some PokéTD, which it turns out can be downloaded from the guy's site.
