We had a lad from the Falcons come along to our Christmas party last year. We have done a bit of corporate stuff with them and got to know him. We knew a few of the staff and clients were Falcons fan so asked if he'd come along. No problem at all, knocked back our offer to pay him as long as he got a good feed and drink (he wasn't kidding about his ability to eat!!). Was very humble and engaging. Top bloke. Just wouldn't happen with many of todays footballers. I saw the change at Newcastle. You used to get the players interacting with fans post game in the corporate section. Shearer, Lee, Speed top blokes, very professional. Dyer, Jenas, Bellamy? Tossers. Bellamy in particular made it clear he didn't want to be there. All stopped now of course.
The oddest thing just happened. Stavros flatley (both of them) just reversed into me in a buggy.. More to follow...
See the mackems have been at it again with regard to breaking the rules, nice follow on to the fielding an ineligible player. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...erland-fined-for-breaching-fa-rules-on-agents please log in to view this image
One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has apologised to fans after being filmed smoking a joint. " I'm really sorry " he said " I'd been doing mushrooms earlier and probably thought it wad a cock "
Well lads, after 2 years of being employed, I'm unemployed again. I have a great amount of savings, but went to claim my dole today, and felt a little bit dead inside doing it because It makes you feel like a cheap prick. But this time I know I wont stay unemployed for as long this time. Anyone else in the same boat?
Tash you've put a lot into the system paying taxes and Ni so there's host wrong with taking a bit back. Chin up fella. You are a bright chap so will get back on your feet pronto. I was once out of work for 6 months and it didn't do me any harm. Sometimes it's a step back to take two forward.
Suspiciously good timing Tash for the WC Seriously though I'm sure you'll get back on the horse in no time. Don't wait though, deal with the disappointment and get your CV back out there. As an employer, one of the first things I look at is how long they've been unemployed etc. If someone has lost his job last week and is knocking on my door straight away, it shows a level of drive. You can still kick back, few beers/vods and watch a few games as you try
