As I said on the Mackem board - 16 is the right age of consent law IMO.

But, it's one of those things that's based on opinion.

It ranges from 13-18 across Europe.

14 in Germany, 13 in Spain, 15 in Netherlands.

If someone 'fiddled' with my daughter, there would not be anything left of them to prosecute.
That woman has totally lost the plot.
Wonder if she had a daughter or niece that that happened to, if she would still be spouting that claptrap

I understand your point of view, but would you do the same thing to a woman that did it to your 13 year old son? really?

Why is it that anyone only gives a **** when it happens to little girls, but not little boys?

    It's ******ed.

If you are going to break the kneecaps of someone ****ed up old man that ****s your children, then you have to do it to a woman also. You cannot have this stupid double standard.

    Tash

What makes you think it is a double standard .... the law comes down hard on women who abuse children too

The law is putting women behind bars for doing it, and right so. But when it comes to societies emotions and opinions on the subject, people don't give a tenth of the reaction when a women molests a boy.

A father will want to kill the man who molested his daughter, but most fathers wouldn't do the same thing to a woman if she molested his son.

It's a double standard. It's like when you say Women can't rape. It's hard to imagine a woman forcing a man to have sex, but if a woman takes advantage of a man that's so drunk he can't consent to sex, then it's rape/sexual assault.

But people don't give a **** because they assume all males want any female to touch them under any circumstances.

I understand what you are saying but had a man or a woman molested one of my boys I would have been filled with rages & Im sure my husband would have wanted to kill them

I think men don't help the situation .... they give the impression that if a young lad is molested by an older woman he is lucky

If he's so drunk, it just wouldn't happen.

It's not just men that give this reaction though.

There was a case once where a woman (Feminist) wrote an article defending a female teacher who had sex with a 14 year old male student.

Her argument was "all young boys want it" and "the woman was emotionally stressed".

When a man molests a girl, everyone sees it as sick perversion. When a woman molests a boy, everyone assumes it's some emotional problem.

Most of the time, people are more understanding with women, which is why Women, statistically, get lesser sentences for equivalent crimes.

    It's ridiculous.

Equality means women get equal rights, but also equal treatment, which means getting the same strict punishments. Regardless of how much emotion a woman might show at court, she's done the crime, no she must do the time.

I know what your saying, but people assume that just because you can't force a man to get an erection, it means he can't be raped.

But if a woman sucks his limp dick without his consent, or ties him up and ****s him with a strap on, or fingers him or w/e, which is this not classed as rape?

If a drunk woman was fingered in her sleep them people would be calling for the man's head.

you raise interesting issues there Tash but in the eyes of the law police will investigate where a crime is alleged .... it is probably less likely for a man to accuse a woman for many reasons

Mainly because he'll most likely be ridiculed.

If you're a woman and accuse a man of sexual assault, you'll get taken seriously. If your a man who accuses a woman of sexual assault, you'll most likely get laughed at.

You and Minxy are going to have to get together and talk this thing over personally.

You've both got a lot to say on the subject.

I don't agree .... I think the police will take seriously crimes they know about .... certainly things are changing where domestic abuse is concerned .... police will take men's allegations seriously .... including sexual assault

Ha, was pulling my hair out last night when I got in from the pub, couldn't get online and I thought I had computer problems.

Bit of a relief to get on now.
