Holy **** – just got off the phone with Chris who’s in the red and white army and the SAFC business forum at the club and he’s given me the update on how it went down over the last few weeks man!!! We really are a shower of ****e. He sits with McFadden from the love supreme in the red and white forum.
Tony Davidson has been sacked today as apparently, he is one of the main reasons the deal with the yanks went pop. Mark Moysey (think that’s his name) has also been sacked as well as he was part of it also.
Apparently, they ****ed up the naming rights to the stadium of light earlier in the year – the deal was done with a company called Energy Checker for a 5-year contract and they ****ed that up due to being greedy and trying to play two companies off against each other and it massively backfired.
McFadden got a text that Thursday night from Charlie saying the deal with the yanks would be confirmed within the next two days. That’s why all the fan network broke the next and had t-shirts made and fanzines printed with DELL all over them. Then they ****ed it up being greedy.
It gets even worse regarding the management appointment…..
So they only wanted to get a manager until the end of the season and went to Ainsworth and he didn’t want to leave a job for 6months which is understandable. He apparently wanted a 2-year deal minimum. They ****ed him off and tried the same with Parkinson and he rejected it. They then went back to Ainsworth and offered him the 2 year deal that he wanted but he told Sunderland to **** off for messing him around so the club want back to offer Parkinson and offered him 18 months and he said he would only take the job on a 2.5yr contract. They offered him that. FFS

Ohh and to top it off – Netflix show isn’t going to be released unless they take out the January transfer window footage from last season as apparently Donald and Charlie look horrifically embarrassing and haven’t got a clue what they are doing. The production team are saying they need to show a true reflection of the club and refused to take it out. The club are threatening to sue them if its released so it’s being parked until resolved.

I don’t know why I’m bothering but the fanzines were posting the takeover stuff on the Thursday. I remember it clear as day as I was in work talking about it and can remember the day. So if they only found out on the Thursday night then they’re clearly psychic.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I don’t know if he’s been reading this or the smb but hes been out drinking with Quinn a few times in the past

LOL.... this few days has been going on for approx nine weeks now.

It’s a load of bull mate. The stadium is closing due to an energy company pulling the plug and the new gaffer is only here till half time Saturday plus SD took a 8 trillion pound loan out in the clubs name.

Would they really sell the naming rights to some third rate energy company for 5 years? Would expect a much shorter term as you would hope they could attract a bigger brand if and when back in the premier.

Also, that Mark fella left about 3 weeks ago.

TD was a friend / colleague of CM and not SD. TD did some PR with CM.

I also genuinely believe they would not be stupid enough to play Ainsworth off against Parkinson on length of deal. If they were not comfortable with a 2.5 year deal for Parkinson they would have just walked away and moved onto other options. They clearly wanted to demonstrate that they backed their man with a 2.5 year deal.
