Serious takeover talk

Stewart Donald said in a podcast that they had received an offer for the naming rights of the Stadium, but he turned it down because naming rights in the Championship would attract a much higher revenue. It sounds like someone spinning information to undermine the owner.

 

I’m not saying it is GA, I wouldn’t know, I just made an educated guess that that is who people are referring to.

Yep, and that absolutely makes sense. They've said they aren't desperate for revenue in this league (might change if we're still here next season with no parachute payment but for now I can believe that we're fine). That being the case why would they accept naming rights which would be potentially divisive for the fan base, would bring in comparative buttons and leave us tied in for years when we expect to be in a higher league and a better position to negotiate before long.

Someone, or some people, are deliberately stirring ****, maybe for attention, maybe because they have some kind of agenda, but it's ****ing pathetic

I can actually see this starting to galvanise people behind the owners, so if it is the Campbell/Armstrong lot they are gonna **** themselves.
